If the Order can do all of these tripped out things why couldn't they have made Bree (in a test tube baby way) and assigned her parents. (explaining the lack of biological parents) Because of the age difference I really doubt they would be Jonas's parents. Also if Jonas and Bree were both geneticaly linked (brother and sister) Jonas would be just as important as Bree. Bree is not important for what she knows she is important because of what she is made up of.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."

We don't know why Bree's important to them yet, so we can't make assumptions like this. All we know is that they want girls (so that could make Jonas irrelevant to them anyway) who show some so-far-undefined "potential" at birth.giddeanx wrote:Also if Jonas and Bree were both geneticaly linked (brother and sister) Jonas would be just as important as Bree. llp, thanks for clarifying for my pea sized little brain. I now understand. lol. I think this is very possible. I sure hope not cause I find it a little ironic that in ALL of cyber space the one guy who offers to let Bree and DB into his house would happen to be Brees "brother" ?? Well...kinda, sorta. You get what I'm saying. Anyways...I don't like that idea but they could make it possible.

I think we can make that assumption. It is her they want. Its definately not whats in her head she is completely oblivious to what the ceremony is or was and seems to know little about her own religion. What does that leave, they want her for what she is.Lurker wrote:We don't know why Bree's important to them yet, so we can't make assumptions like this. If I can't push this forward I don't want to hear anymore Jonas and Bree is related either, where is this solid proof.

I'm not disagreeing that they want her for what she is, but I am suggesting that it may not necessarily have to do with genetics. Otherwise, why not force the parents of these kids with The Potential to keep having babies?giddeanx wrote:I think we can make that assumption. It is her they want. Since it's even a matter of needing babies (girls specifically) with this "potential," it seems to me like it's something they have to look for. If they found it once with one couple, you'd think they could just keep using those same people over and over and it wouldn't be a big deal.

That is of course if the couple is still available. If they were alive wouldn't you think the order would have had them raise Bree. If they could force them to have a child. They could force them to raise thier own child. Even Rosemary was able to raise her baby.Lurker wrote:I'm not disagreeing that they want her for what she is, but I am suggesting that it may not necessarily have to do with genetics. I don't think they would let them raise them, no. The Order would want the kids to come up carefully crafted and with certainty that they'd have the "values" of the Order. They'd want them blindly believing the things they want them to believe so they can easily manipulate them into performing their special raindance.giddeanx wrote:That is of course if the couple is still available. I don't think the parents are necessarily dead, though, either (unless the Order kills them when they take the kids, which would be simply stupid if it was a matter of genetics). The way Bree said that the kids are taken and placed in controlled homes suggests to me that it happens every time (in which case Tachyon's sister probably wasn't her biological sister) - and killing your special gene carriers every single time seems like it's just asking for problems.

Do you think there are multiple Bree's (not talking clones) but this one is the only one to escape the ceremony.
I am still on the idea that Bree's doesn't have traditional parents. Test tube baby Bree would be easily swayed and easily placed in any appropriate family and created to be exactly what you wanted. The materials necessary to make a child could be easily frozen so large quantities could be kept. If fertilization needed to occur at a specific time it would also be guaranteed. Much more efficient than the putting them together like Panda. Using the test tube you wouldn't need to force the participants to do anything other than fall asleep.
Your right if no altering occured to either egg or swimmer they would be biological parents. You are also right they may be kept around, for all we know they could be staunch supporters or the only living relatives of Crowley But they would have little to nothing to do with Bree.

Do you really think Jonas would have gone this long without saying something? You know, he thought his parents were dead for several years, then when helping out a friend he finds out that her father is his father that has been missing? I seriously think he would have said something...longlostposter wrote:Well, this is just a theory, not something I'm thinking seriously about; but yep the switch would have been made when Bree was an infant. Thus, when Jonas's parents "disappeared", it would actually have been Bree's natural parents (although not "lost at sea", just gone). This would mean that the parents that Jonas knew (and Alex said are still alive), would be Bree's parents. Taking that a step further, since we know Bree's mom holds a high position in the Order, perhaps her "adoptive dad" is still alive, and that is what Alex is referring to when she tells Jonas his parents are still alive, and they've been busy.exanimatebylove wrote: But, HOW could that even happen cuz didn't Jonas's parents "disappear" around 6 1/2 years ago and if Bree's 17...She would have been 11 when Jonas's parents went away and there would to have been some switch or something there...But an 11 year old would most def remember her parents. So, I don't think this is possible. Unless, Bree's REAL parents happen to be Jonas's parents aswell. That is possible...and they gave Bree the fake parents from day 1. Ahh, I'm oh so very confused.
Following?
Also, that could account for Jonas's constant inquiry and surprise at seeing Bree's "dad" in "The Unthinkable Happened". Perhaps Jonas had a quick flashback to his dad when he was a toddler.
This theory would make Jonas's birth parents alive (if Bree's "adoptive dad" was not actually killed). This then begs the question, what happened to Bree's natural parents? Since the "lost at sea" was all a sham, that wouldn't be the fate of her parents. So, then, where are Bree's natural parents?
I have a headache thinking about this. lol

Maybe but his parents death was traumatic. When someone dies or goes missing sometimes you trick yourself into seeing them everywhere. Maybe Jonas convinced himself that his mind was playing tricks with him.joygasm wrote:

No problem, and I wouldn't say your brain is "pea-sized". You've authored some very intelligent posts on this forum; and this particular theory was not easy to follow.exanimatebylove wrote:llp, thanks for clarifying for my pea sized little brain. Like I said, it's just something I was tossing around for the heck of it; not something that I'm predicting. Just like you, I don't think it would be the best plot twist, but it's definately better than the Luke and Leia-type theories flying around here.
And yes, you've hit the nail on the head; what you have to believe in order to make this theory legitimate is quite unbelievable in and of itself. However, everything about J&B is so coincidental and random at this point, nothing seems to be totally out of the realm of possibility.
I can't wait to see how the Creators explain away the extremely unlikely chance invitation by Jonas, given B&J's stories seem to be running more and more along parallel lines. It's just too great a coincidence to be believable, and since this last vid, I would call it impossible. I'm just sitting here waiting for them to reveal what's behind curtain number 1.
Joy, I am not saying he could positively place the random memory;after all, he would have been, at the most, three years old. It would be sort of like when you meet someone on the street, and you recognize them, but you can't quite put your finger on how you know them; sort of like a 'deja vu' kind of thing. Don't you think that's possible?Joygasm wrote:Do you really think Jonas would have gone this long without saying something? Also, your point is conceivable as well, Echo.

This is all conjuncture here everyone says everything. I was stating if Bree is important then a living relative of her's may be as well. If Jonas was her brother and genetics were important then he would be important as well.Melisa wrote:Says who?Jonas would be just as important as Bree.
Isn't the ceremony only for females?
And as far as we've seen, the majority of the Order is female.
Alot of "if"s and "may"s away from fact.
Im not sure if anyone knows for sure. The only thing we know for sure is that women do the ceremony we don't know if men do it as well.
I think it is just happenstance that all that we have seen of the order is female. There were male agents in the elevator, male agents at the party, male agents had Bree's father, male agents stand in grocery stores and stand outside to get wacked in the face. Bree surrogate father is also order. Jonas's father was also order and split.

As I said in the other thread, I think they send beautiful women into the lives of BDJ for the purpose of infiltration.
