I think it's really up in the air as to the identity of the new girl, but judging by production style and techniques, I'd say there's a good chance it's this soccer-obsessed freak of nature.
I think it'd be so funny if they did the buffy thing, immortal! I hope they don't though. Because that would be a little silly.

As for the actress/character, I'll simply second Luminous' opinion .

Well, she doesn't seem to be very popular. That makes me happy. If everyone but me loved her, I think I would probably be sick.

It could be her because of the editing style, but I think PolkaDot is right in saying that we just don't know yet (makes me think of the proliferation of fake Cassies )

As for the new girl being Alex, I think it's highly unlikely but not impossible.

I really hope that the new girl is Alex, even though it's unlikely. She's way cooler than any of the other possible new girls.
