Oh, and it was nice of you to edit in the insult. There's a reason I said that, it was because I knew you'd take it in a way it wasn't meant. There's no need to get personal, but it does seem you need to peek into the world more before insulting the creators and others here on the forum...else you sound cruel and cold.

I don't think anyone wants to give the impression that kidnapping is not a horrible thing. I'm quite confident the Creators are not making light of this activity.

This is entertainment, and often entertainment uses bad things as major story points. (For example, Bree's father was shot and killed.) I'm sure the Creators are not condoning murder any more than kidnapping.

The reason for me posting here was to try get people to think that shouldn't the story be put on hold, or cancelled even, to show respect to the family that are broke up about losing there child...

Then every day we need to show people respect. You haven't shown any respect, how can you claim that because of one out of a million horrible crimes anyone continuing this show is disrespectul? You've been extremely disrespectful and insulting in just a couple of posts. We get it, it's horrible a child was kidnapped...it's horrible all the kidnappings daily all over the WORLD...but it's not the Creator's fault.

Huh? I'm trying to respond to a person's concern.

I absolutely understand that someone horrified about something in the news - especially something that happens to children - would not want to see it in their entertainment. People object to things like this on TV all the time. The thing is: it is entertainment, and people watch what they choose to watch. Most of us can discern the difference between entertainment and reality, but for those who are offended by such displays, they should choose different sources of entertainment.

It's also NO EXCUSE to post the insulting comments about children being kidnapped in the USA. I'm in complete agreement with everything you said.

Kidnapping of children doesn't happen all the time, specially here in the UK, I don't walk down to my local news agents and see flyers on the wall about missing children... I don't wake up and see on the news a list of children that have gone missing...

It is not common here and that's why the creators should show respect to the family and not be releasing these videos straight away...

and this is for BrokenKid... Entertainment does stop for major news... The biggest TV Drama show in the UK coronation street stopped there story line that was happening where a child was going to be kidnapped...
