It was the clue leading them to the Periodic Table.

Both the money and the note were originally left inside P Monkey. The reference to money on the table was just a clue from Dad.

There were two additional clues besides the number of syllables. One was the word "Periodic" and the other was the reference to the money being on the "Table". Combine the two and you get "Periodic Table" (thanks to Apo for figuring that out).

Then count the syllables in each line and you get elements in the periodic table. The letter of each element spells out "Camp Play".

Didn't Daniel tape the play? He should post the vid from that!

I believe he gave the tape to Bree's Dad, to make a summary tape to distribute to all the campers. Daniel needs to check Bree's house again, which has been suggested! :)

Daniel, be careful. You never know where those evil Orderites lurk. -shifty eyes-

Please try to remember back on the play. Do you remember her character?... the plot?... the setting? Anything would be helpful at his point.

Love ya!

Does anyone know how much money her dad left? (It could be another part of the clue.

Since Daniel didn't find anything at the scene, it's possible the clue points to the content of the play (as someone said earlier). The money (it's amount, the count of the denominations etc.) may be the key to a message in the play.

Hmmm...I didn't think of that! Interesting!

Go to Brees house first. In the TV room where you both used to watch movies, look for the 'end of summer camp' tape there.

You were by yourself last time you went to Brees, and were probably uneasy. Now with Brother Jonas, there, you can really do some serious snooping. They must have more information there.
Their office, the computers..mail.

I'm tempted to ask you to film in Brees room. Just for ole times sake.

God, I fucking love you guys.

I can't believe it. I did SO MUCH WORK yesterday about all that crazy science stuff that I got a terrible headache, and it turns out the code was in the freaking SYLLABLES. I'm not a science person, I'm an English person. And here I am racking my brain out with physics when I could be doing something I'm good at! UGH. Well, at least I learned the definition of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Anyways, Daniel, I agree with everyone here. First you should go to Bree's house and see if you can find the footage. Second you should go to the camp and see if the location A) is the location of the Ceremony, B) has something hidden for Bree left by her dad, or C) some other clue.
And film the whole thing. If you don't see something, maybe someone on the forums will!

I wonder if Bree figured this out. I would think she had, because she's pretty smart, and obviously knew there was more to the note than meets the eye. But if she figured it out, why wouldn't she go to the camp? Her dad obviously wanted her too..

Y'know, maybe we should get a list of people's expertise and apportion. I grew up in the house of a physicist so it was natural I glom to the science, but I also write. Somebody mentioned syllables early in the thread and nobody (including me) picked up on it. I think we're all feeling foolish over this one.

That's exactly what he just did with this last video. Are you having troubles receiving it?

Was the note in p-monkey before the abduction? I think it was and even if she figured it out, the abduction definitely hypnotized her into obsessing over the ceremony girl in general and Jules in particular.

Before which abduction? The note is from a long time ago. When Bree's parents first left with the Order or were kidnapped, or whatever happened. lol. Around Thanksgiving, Bree was sitting by herself examining the note very attentively, so I wondered if she figured it out. I guess you're right, maybe she felt there were more important things. -shrug-

And no, I did see the video. But they didn't go to the camp. Unless there's an even newer video that I'm missing??

We shouldn't be feeling foolish! We're just used to the complex puzzles of Oppy and Tachy. *sigh* I miss them. :?

I'll echo this one. There might be more clues you missed in the "family room"... perhaps even a copy of the footage from the play. If Bree's father was at the house when he had to leave, it would make more sense that he left a clue in there... And if not, then there's no hurt in trying. And if you got caught, you can use the excuse that Bree needed some things... but couldn't make it there herself.

It has been what, 7 months since her parents originally disappeared, right? Don't you think the neighbors have noticed? Again, I ask...who is paying the mortgage? A house that remains empty for 7 months? I think it will be like going to Aunt Alex's house...empty.

Has anyone decided to look into the Mayflower and how that is relevant to the Order? Why would they have a play based on a group of Christian Purist? Doesn't that go against what they believe? I'm thinking about looking into Pilgrim stories to see if anything can be found. :smt102
