I actually bought a box of chocolate chip cookie dough poptarts. They looked so good on the box, and I've found that the chocolate poptarts, while a little too sweet for breakfast, make great desserts! But these things... well, they're seriously nausea-inducing. Don't give in to the packaging! Terrible idea...

And who would have thought anything with chocolate chip cookie dough could be bad?

Obviously, you've never tried to make chocolate chip cookie dough stir-fry.

I could never stomach the chocolate pop tarts. Cherry and raspberry are where it's at...as long as they are the frosted ones.

And, let's not forget the tastiness that is a Toaster Streudel.

True. Is that not good too? How sad...

I was looking for tail.
Truth in advertising! Strange, though. I'd figured you for a tentacle, not tail, man. To quote a certain webcomic: "Wow! It's a copy of Mythos Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition! I didn't think that any of these survived!"

Back issues of MI being harder to come by than authentic copies of the Necronomicon... :P

For my part, I was intrigued by the humor and allusiveness of the videos and by the pre-outing is-it-real-or-fake debate, which reminded me a bit of similar online discussions about the John Titor stuff from a few years back. (The online discussions were a good part of the Titor material's fascination for me, as such discussions reveal, often in pretty naked and brutally honest ways, a lot about what people perceive to be true and/or important and how they arrive at their conclusions. Narrative as a mirror for observers...) As the LG15 series progressed, I liked the direction it was taking and the (sometimes) heated discourses it was generating. Also, a great deal of the LG15 fan fiction-- and fan reactions to the fan fiction-- fascinates me, sometimes in disturbing and entertaining ways. I tend to lurk on boards more often than I participate, but I decided to take the plunge this time, to make another exception to my general rule, at least for a while.

As long as the videos keep playing with ideas that I find intriguing, I'll keep watching.
