I was going to get that Nicoderm patch, but the Equate brand was a lot cheaper. It's tough, but it helps. When I've tried to quit cold turkey I have only made it about 4 hrs. My last cigarette was 17 hours and 25 minutes ago. Not that I'm counting...

Yeah, me too...and this morning, since I can't concentrate, I'm sitting here in my depressing cubicle thinking about how nice it would be to be sitting on my couch. How sad... time to start kicking in those New Year's resolutions!

Heh. I hear ya. Every damn second feels like an hour.
Last time I tried to quit I used Equate, had no luck. I've got such an (no laughing pervs!) oral addiction too--one that chewing gum or eating hard candy just doesn't help. When I was on the patch I was eating constantly.
Well good luck!! Just think of all the money you'll be saving with not buying smokes! (Oh yeah and the health thing too )

Yeah, tell me about it. I think I'm gonna start running--I got an iPod for Xmas (a not so subtle hint that I need to exercise, I think ). But I go through a depressive kinda thing right after the holidays--I think it's just the let down from so much excitement before, you know? So the last thing I want to do right now is be seen by the outside world!
You should knock down your cubicle walls a la Office Space.
