Hmm...well, my great grandfather and his brother came from Sicily turn of the century...made it to cali...my grandfather suddenly had to leave and cut all contact. That's how he ended up in Indiana. You tell me. I've seen pics of those two...very Godfather looking.

Good, I guess. Tiring. I'm glad the whole season is over, like I feel every year around this time. I ate and drank way too much, though...I prolly gained, like, 50 pounds.

This is my first day back since the 22nd of December..and my first 24 hrs of not smoking. Work really sucks today.

I was going to get that Nicoderm patch, but the Equate brand was a lot cheaper. It's tough, but it helps. When I've tried to quit cold turkey I have only made it about 4 hrs. My last cigarette was 17 hours and 25 minutes ago. Not that I'm counting...

Yeah, me too...and this morning, since I can't concentrate, I'm sitting here in my depressing cubicle thinking about how nice it would be to be sitting on my couch. How sad... time to start kicking in those New Year's resolutions!

Heh. I hear ya. Every damn second feels like an hour.

Last time I tried to quit I used Equate, had no luck. I've got such an (no laughing pervs!) oral addiction too--one that chewing gum or eating hard candy just doesn't help. When I was on the patch I was eating constantly.

Well good luck!! Just think of all the money you'll be saving with not buying smokes! (Oh yeah and the health thing too )

Yeah, tell me about it. I think I'm gonna start running--I got an iPod for Xmas (a not so subtle hint that I need to exercise, I think ). But I go through a depressive kinda thing right after the holidays--I think it's just the let down from so much excitement before, you know? So the last thing I want to do right now is be seen by the outside world!

You should knock down your cubicle walls a la Office Space.
