Heh heh, had to google "ikwym" (see what I mean??) but thanks for the encouragement, sunbeam! Still, I stand by my opinion that it's too soon for the 80s to be retro.

Apparently as I was posting, I missed a whole discussion on anime. I really got into Noir awhile back. If anyone is still listening... *echo echo echo*

My favorite book in the world is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
by Lewis Carroll

My second is the The Davinci Code I guess, by Dan Brown.
then I like the Tales of the Otori, by Lian Hearn.

I think Candide and the Great Gatsby are my favorite books. Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are is my favorite childrens book.

Hey, nice! Did you see my post in the book memorizing thread? 8) I wore out a copy of that book and had to buy another, lol.

A few of my faves...Ishmael, The Gunslinger, Hearts in Atlantis (I'm a King junkie), Lolita, and The Grapes of Wrath are all books I can read over and over.
