Noooo...in your pic, you're holding the ice pack against the side of your head...like around your ear...and underneath you have the caption "Stupid Soup"

So I wrote OMG! YOU MADE SOUP OUT OF YOUR EAR!

I'm corny like that :-P

Ok, so I found 3 pictures, I know I have more, grr. I found a pink/platnium, a red bob that I didn't remember, and then like a bronze-y red. Unfortunately, I have no scanner, and taking pictures of the, erm, pictures isn't working. So they will happen. Just not now cause....I'm lazy. Yup, you heard me. L A Z Y.

Actually, Nomex is the material of which my Combat Vehicle Crewman's suit was made--flame retardant material (if you survive catastrophic penetration of the armor, fire is a leading killer of armored vehicle crewmen).

The face paint is just, well, camouflage makeup you can pick up in any surplus store or hunting goods shop. We were the opposing force in that exercise, on our way to set up an ambush for the Marines who were getting ready to invade Northern Queensland--and simulate dying in a loud and professional military manner when they arrived. ;)

That, my dear, was my next guess. ;) However, you beat me to it!

So have you ever had to play the opposing side--you know, "simulate dying in a loud and professional military manner?"

Last, but not least...

You said "penetration." Heh.
