The movie scarred me as a child, the book scarred me as a young adult.
Didn't help that I read the hardcover version, slept on a loft bed and would read it before going to sleep. Few things in my life have been more terrifying than a 1000+ page hardcover tome falling 7 feet and hitting the floor in the middle of the night.
that would be scary as hell!!!

I really love James Patterson books. Mystery, murder.. all that stuff.
I also love going to Borders and just reading random books.
Last weekend I was there and found this book The bunni suicides, or suicidal bunni (something like that) Anyways, its really cute... its just a bunch of pictures of a lil cartoon bunni trying different ways to commit suicide.. (sounds kinda morbid, but its cute)
lol.. the bunni book isnt really quality reading, but fun nonetheless

How could
anyone forget The Fall... or New Model Army?
So all I wanted in the end
Was world domination and a whole lot of money to spend,
A little place to call my home, like a planet that was all my own...
Well that's not much to ask, it's really not,
It's not much to ask, just the same as anybody else...
Love me some New Model Army.
And I'm listening to the Dead Kennedys while working.

Quite fond of Nick Cave, Joy Division, the Geraldine Fibbers, ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead. And Faust. And Tom Waits.
And I've had the Flower Duet from
Lakmé stuck in my head lately...
And Mahler's
Kindertotenlieder, for some reason.

I prefer Half-Price Books, myself. Because I can get twice as many books!
