but enough of the downer i came here to party! I'm going to collect money from my Canadian goverment today for unemployment... yay for a goverment that pays me when i have no job!

Sorry to hear... My wife and I went through it with her grandmother, and she's now the spunkiest 74-year old I know

She lost her hair to chemo, and I shaved my head in support of her... I think hers grew back faster than mine did

A coworker's mom also went through it a couple of months ago... Now she's a coworker as well... So, even though it's scary, the survival rate these days is much better than it used to be

Yeah thats what we are told its just hard because she is a foster mom for 3 kids who have a lot of issue, but we love them so much and she won't be able to care for them luckly they decided not to take them away and offered to help. I am confident she'll make it.
