Raptor- If we're thinking of the same thing it was "killing in the name of" but you said you were beyond that, so you've got me. Just didn't want to leave you hangin.

Thanks for watching. But I kinda backed myself into a corner now. The Creators of lonelygirl15 asked me to post them on the lonelygirl15 site, but when I told them the video wasn't original, they asked me to try something completely original, and I not sure I'm that talented!

Someone mentioned that the book sequence looked like it was out of a movie, Army of Darkness, right? And as for the audio "Frank is waiting" I'm wondering if that was a direct lift out of Donnie Darko. So I started googling for wav files.

When I typed "Donnie Darko wav" into google the first result I got was this:

"JoBlo's Movie Club - Official JoBlo.com Daily Audio Movie Quote Threadhttp://www.badmovies.org/movies/armydark/armydark3.wav Dawn of the Dead. ... Fav Movie: Evil Dead Trilogy, Donnie Darko, TCM. Registered: Jul 2003 ...
www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=63564 - 160k - Cached - Similar pages"

Army Dark again? Hmm, are elements from both these films in Cassie's video?

"At dawn you'll rise to do your worst"

Maybe she's saying we'll get one clue a day, posted before any of us should be awake, so that each day we rise to a new clue. Has nothing to do with the literal dawn.
Not that it makes much difference to me, since here it's 11:30am already, but for the sake of most of the people here, this interpretation makes me happy...

Zephir wrote:i dont feel that we should be waiting. We still need to figure out what the highlighted text says (we can do this by someone who owns a bible seeing if they can match up the paragraphs and spacing to the one used in the video in the relevations 1 section)

we also need to figure out what the logo on the front of the bible is. There is plenty still to discover!
To stand a hope of matching the text (which looks fairly slim to me going on the quality) we need to know which bible (if indeed that is what it is - seems most likely) first?

Aw, man, do more gecko videos! I swear, those are so incredibly funny and perfect! The best part is, a little part of me still thinks she said "gecko". :)

Yeah, now only if we can get a fingerprint :)

I am nearly 90% certain that no one says "Frank is waiting" in Donnie Darko - unless it's in the Director's Cut, which I don't own. I even looked up a script and did a quick search for the phrase and came up with nothing.

Well perhaps I will. But for now, I have to run some errands in town. So I will have to leave for the time being. And for what it's worth, the lyrics that I heard didnt sound like the same as "killing in the name of", but I have never heard the song in question, so I really have no idea.

Yeah, I don't think so either. But it could be a reference to the film, I suppose. Frank is a pretty ominous creature in the film, but he also leads Donnie... he's sorta like a cross between the devil and his subconscious. (my interpretation...it's a tough film to interpret)

exactly. the video quality is crap and i don't think anyone can probably find it unless they luckily stumble onto it. cassie, in the past, has been somewhat helpful with posting more in depth clues a little later on, so ... i'm sorta thinking that if that is the direction we are supposed to go, a better image from her will find it's way up sooner or later.
