many of us are unable to play secondlife, on several different threads people have asked for screenies of the rose garden on top of the church. Can we get one?

Second Life crashed my computer last night and now it is dead. I can't get it to boot up. Diagnostics showed corrupted files. Don't have time right now to spend three hours on tech support call. I am seriously pissed.

They put out a new version yesterday that you had to download to play. Did not have problems before. Missed a class this morning and now having to use school library computer to re-write midterm due today. If I can't retrieve my files I will be livid.

Has anyone else had problems since the new upgrade?

I haven't had problems yet....I put the updates on my comp and was online for maybe a half an hour...I am afraid to start it up now.

Upload them to tinypic.com, copy the last URL they give you that is under "URL Link". Then come here and in the reply box, click "img", then paste the url, then clock "img" again.[/img]

If you have access to another PC with a CD-Burner, search for Knoppix, burn to CD, and boot your machine at home from it... It'll let ya recover your files, at least
