JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote:Maybe the answer is in the videos. Some people theorized that Jonas paused before 'hot chocolate' because it was some kind of code word. Anyone try hot chocolate?

Or maybe the Nancy Drew is a cue to check back at the old drop with Nancy Drew's Guide To Life... anyone try the IAMWAITINGFOR...?? or the hex for it?
no luck

i tried the reasonable capitalizations as well, no luck

okay, in the nancy drew drop, the passages with more than just a dot are as follows:

Pg 38:
"After receiving an electrical shock to the system, find as many men as possible to vigorously massage you."
(this passage was followed by a smiley face)
[Mystery of the Glowing Eye]

Pg 46:
"When confused, sit back and try to arrange the facts into some kind of order."
(this whole passage was underlined)
[The Ghost of Blackwood Hall]

Pg 54:
"When trying to crack a numerical code, don't rule out latitude and longitude coordinates."
(this passage was crossed out)
[The Spider Sapphire Mystery]

Pg 112:
"Strange mechanical noises can only mean one thing: a printing press is being used for nefarious purposes."
(this passage was marked with a "?" next to it)
[The Clue of the Broken Locket]

Pg 114:
"Young boys who stand tall and with dignity are certainly not the fruit of a cruel, dictatorial man's loins. It simply isn't in the genes."
(this passage was marked with a smiley face after it)
[The Mystery of the Ivory Charm]

Pg 123:
"College undergrads can discern harmless knockout drops from more dangerous poison. Isn't Ned dreamy?"
(this passage was followed by "WTF?")
[The Moonstone Castle Mystery]

Pg 123:
"Bold vertical handwriting usually belongs to a literary person, and jerky slanted-to-the-right letters are a sign of nervousness."
(this passage was followed by "LOL")
[The Clue of the Whistling Bagpipes]

Pg 132:
"If you are afraid of being followed when you leave your house, buy a new car and have it brought around the back of the house for a sneaky escape."
(this passage was followed by "?")
[Password to Larkspur Lane]

Pg 135:
"Tap dance lessons + Morse code = ingenious combination."
(this passage was marked with an asterisk "*" next to it)
[The Clue of the Tapping Heels]

Pg 139:
"Always carry your birth certificate with you; you never know when you will need it."
(this passage was crossed out)
[The Mystery of the Fire Dragon]

Could the answer be in those??
I bolded the ones that seem most relevant.
Doubt this helps but thought I should organize them so they can be looked at all at once..

This thread is too big. Once you're outta the loop, there's no way to see what's been tried so far and which theories are flying around.

Has anyone noticed yet that there are 14 X and Y (11x + 3y), and 14 words in the actual message (i.e. everything sans xoxox T)?

Might be of significance...like, the first characters of the first 11 words, and the last characters of the last three or something.

Then again, I agree that the "I Drew" thing is waaaaay too curious to be a coincidence.
Did somebody check for chapters/passages starting with "I, Drew" or something in that Nancy Drew book yet?

Or maybe it's all a red herring, and "the answer is before you/a subtle clue I Drew" is to be taken literally? Anyone checked if the arrangement of the letters on the note has any significance yet? ('cause it'd be a clue subtilely drawn into the note, with which it all started.)

Hmm...it could possibly lead somewhere, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start with those passages. heh, and all I can think in my head is "Nancy does not RIP". 8) LG15 is helping revive the Nancy Drew books.

Is it sad I dreamed that Nancy Drew was being chased by creepy blonde girls in sunglasses?

Ever get the feeling that we are attacking this problem like 100 monkeys with typewriters? Punch the keyboard enough times...and eventually they may write shakespear....but I wouldn't bet on it.

Our approach is totally scattered. We need a CONCISE FOCUSED effort here. A plan in a way. Otherwise you could sit with a dictionary and just enter words till your fingers bled.

I have a feeling that the hint is with the books. But I can't prove it.

I think all will become clear. It seems to me that right now, with the information we have, this puzzle CAN NOT be solved. We have to wait for the next clue.

But, I know that's frustrating......
Can't we all just get along?

I think I just found a new possible clue! I'm not sure and I'm still doing research. I'll let you know how it goes. :D

I think we need to look at this from Daniel's point of view...not ours.
