Yes, it was.. for a one time appearance.

People were annoying today going on and on about her future role in the plot when the article clearly stated it was a one time "guest appearance." Nobody even gave her a name!!

Well, she nailed the part, awkwardness and everything. I would LOVE to see her in there a bit more. She'll probably make a few more appearances in some episodes a few months from now. The Creators are obviously listening to us. [Ex: Orange Slurpee...]

Yeah, they MIGHT bring her on again, or consider making her a main character. From a business/marketing perspective, it was a very smart move for BOTH of them. She was also pretty likeable. I had never seen or heard of her before, and she seems to get along well with Bree.
