Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I went as a mom, in a van, driving her daughter and her friend around to go trick-or-treating.

They went as lovely faeries. And you should probably know, they are 15. lol

Hehe... I work with a bunch of cops, probation officers, and prison guards. I wrote a program that randomizes the court-ordered drug screenings for probationers, so we deal with a lot of PO's. My company also does the actual screenings for the local courts, and sometimes probationers don't do the smartest thing (like, umm... bringing their crack spoon to their drug screening with them. No kidding. It actually happened.) so we have to call the cops. Plus a lot of the people I work with are former cops. Some of 'em aren't so bad :)

Not anymore...my mom made me take our doberman (dressed up, of course) with me the years I went alone.

I had to take this sickly long-necked freak thing around with me dressed as a ghost. Then we took a bike trip through a sub-division, flew in the moonlight and contacted a distant alien race with a Speak-n-Spell and a buzzsaw blade.
