heh...you do realize that you just screwed yourself by saying that FP and that you will end up with a speeding ticket in the next 2 weeks?

Shh... I had a close call once. But yes, damn my fingers. Watch me take to walking for the next few weeks.

I've had a couple of speeding tickets. Once, I had to go to the bathroom so bad that I was almost in tears and I asked the police officer if he could follow me to my house and give me the ticket there so I could just use the restroom before I wet myself. Amazingly enough, he said yes, and then dropped the amount I was speeding downn to the next level so my ticket wouldn't be soo high.

Lol.
Some of the best memories I had when I was little was my mother either crying or talking her way out of tickets.

I'm one of those people who, when I get pulled over, realize there's a reason and pretty much say as much. When I get asked the "Do you know why I pulled you over?" question, if I'm sure its because I was speeding, I'll admit to it. Being honest has gotten me out of a few tickets

Oof, very nice of him to do so!
Honestly, I don't see how I've been able to avoid a speeding ticket up until now. It isn't like I'm a new driver; I've been driving for ages. I must abide by the speed limit or have the ability to evade the fuzz.

Now that I have kids, I pretty much abide by the law when it comes to driving. It also helps that I know where the police park to bust speeders, so I know where to slow down

Well, *babe! I am sorry to hear about your friend. Sounds a little like me these past few weeks. To be honest, I think that getting this ticket is the universe's way of telling me to slow down. Not that I've been doing drugs...but I have been stealing things and I did drink a couple weeks ago...and the grafitti. I am just lucky it wasn't any worse (not to say a $327 ticket isn't bad...OUCH!) I have to pay for it out of my own pocket. But I think I am ok with my parents because I was entirely honest with them. I told them I made a huge mistake...and they understand that I really do know I did.

Heh, my mother has one of those. Whenever I ride with her and that thing starts beeping or buzzing, she hits the brakes and glides to the correct speed.
