Good morning, 'mute, Kenny, BA. How's the party thread shaping up this morning?

I'm fully caffinated by now, thankfully. It was a rough start this morning, but a traffic accident (leading to a 40-minute longer commute than usual) let me consume all my coffee on the road before I even sat down at my desk. *sighs* Now I'm behind though.

I had nightmares all night again for the 2nd night.

I dreamt I had a car accident o.o but not a big one..

My dad has it. He has to use a breathing machine to help him sleep all night. He doesn't like to, but it actually helps him sleep.
I've had it for awhile now... It's finally gotten to the point that I've got a doctor's appointment for it... Hopefully he'll tell me to lose some weight, and it'll get a little better  (I'm not *that* overweight, but it has gotten worse as my weight has gone up)

Not bad, overall... Bit tired from being up until 1:30am (the problem with having a dog. If you're out until 1am, you can't just collapse in bed ) but otherwise good...

Good morning, BK! Party's quiet so far... For some reason, no one has taken me up on a Guinness yet this morning

We were just discussing caffeine a moment ago

You should quit coffee...you'll have more energy when your not so reliant on it.
I don't drink coffee that often any more ... Probably not even once a week these days (used to be at least a pot daily)... I drink tea a little more often, but half the time it's decaf... And I've taken to drinking caffeine-free colas as well... My energy level? Unchanged... I have sleep apnea, which zaps it completely...

More and more people seem to have sleep apnea lately.

My dad has it. He has to use a breathing machine to help him sleep all night. He doesn't like to, but it actually helps him sleep.
My dad and I both have sleep apnea, he sleeps with a cpap. I don't have to ...yet. I do however have to have my tonsils removed next month to see if that may help some.

I had mine out when I was about 8 or 9, so I don't think they're the problem ;)

I did a sleep study about a month ago and it was decided that they might be an obstruction, I will do another sleep study afterward to see how much of an improvment was made, if any. Thats when i will know if I will need the cpap or bipap. I really really hope not.

I think our world is causing more and more people to be medicated every day.

I'm going to my regular doc on the 31st to get a referral for a sleep study... In the meantime, I'm gonna try to start shedding a few of the extra pounds and see if that helps :)

I did read the caffeine discussion. :) Tell ya the truth, Guiness sounds far better than coffee this morning! Coffee tends to bother my stomach (but it's worth it), and Guiness is just good medicine!

After my initial visit i lost about 11lbs, and I don't know if it was just the weight loss or the weight loss coupled with the work outs but since then (still continueing the 3 day a week exercise) I sleep a lot better... but I guess it wasent good enough for the doc.
