k, i figued it out I think. Apo mentioned that part on the periodic table andI knew he had something going on there. so I did some thinking. count the number of letters in the words that seem copletely irrevevant. Quantum electrodynamics, Superconductivity and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. I counted the on the note and the number I got was 74. the atomic number of Tungsten is 74. then to confirm my thoughts I counted the numbe of words in the 4th paragraph, both sentences have 6 words in them. the Group number of Tungsten is 6 and so is the period number. He left 2 clues to stop us from confusing Tungtsen with Polonium which is in Group VI. ( I hope you guys paid attention in science class!). So thats my answer, hope im right!:D

my dad writes in all capital letters like that, infact his writing style is quite similiar? so i'd say that it is normal, but that's just me..

the only normal biological function I found tugsten in is oxidoreductase

If you count the words on each line you get:

Maybe it's the average of the numbers?

I know you said to PM you if we figured anything out. I really haven't, but I did want to share an hypothesis.

I think Bree's dad was pointing out the substance in her blood that makes her desired by The Order.

He said that contact would be "periodic," and then said that he left money on the "table."

Both statements aren't true, from what I remember. I remember that the money was found in P. Monkey, and that contact didn't occur regularly.

I think he was saying "Periodic Table," as in Periodic Table of the Elements. I think he might have been tipping us off as to what substance The Order is looking for in Bree's blood that makes her desirable for The Ceremony.

I am checking the Table for uncommon elements found in human blood. The most promising so far are Lanthanides, which are also called "rare earth elements." A couple of these are found in blood at the pg/mL amounts.

I thought having the word periodic in there seemed strange, but I wrote it off as something Brees dad would do, simply because he's Brees dad :D
The table bit didn't jump out at me though

I think there's some significance to "Ms. Poppins" as opposed to Mary Poppins.

Like the letters M S or at least the M are relevant.

Nobody said that the chemical had anything to do with Bree. it could be a hint at a place name? eg. Oxygen country, Tungsten University, etc

Eh, bosons are way cooler than fermions.

This could be irrelevant, but it jumped out at me. There's a paragraph break between "months" and "for now." The first part is fairly straightforward, while the second half is definitely cryptic. Maybe the message is only in the second half? Or that could be too easy...

This is probably way off, but quantum electrodynamics and superconductivity both deal in some way with magnetism. Plus, Bree's dad tells her to "be strong." Magnetism... strength... the first thing that comes to my mind is iron.

Does epogen have something to do with iron? Or anemia or something like that? Hmm... I need to go back and do some reading.

Along the same lines, although it is a bit of a stretch, the first word in each line seems to sound like an element's name.

Bree - Br
I'm - I
I - I
You - U
For - Fr
The - Th
Be - Be or B
Don't - Nd or No
Dad - Dy

Kinda, anyway. I doubt it's worth anything, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Epogen can be used for anemia, and iron is a commonly used supplement for anemics, I believe. Also, if you take Epogen, you need to warn your doctor if you take iron supplements because it can increase your risk of side effects. (I just scoured Epogen pages.)

Iron has everything to do with blood. On a whim I typed in Epogen.com, and what does it tell me? "Treatment of anemia in patients which chronic renal failure" etc. Anemia is a deficiency of red blood cells. Red blood cells carry hemoglobin, and the iron in hemoglobin is responsible for carrying oxygen.

You found a connection!

You say you found this element in the blood? but what about this?
They react violently with most nonmetals. ... Lanthanides burn in air. They have high melting and boiling points.
How can something that burns with contact to air and reacts to non-metals be found in the blood? Isn't that mostly what blood is?

Lots and lots of carbon. We intake oxygen, expel nitrogen, have a fair amount of iron. Um, hydrogen and oxygen as water, like you said. Everything else is a random assortment of junk that we need, from what I remember from AP Bio class. Two years ago.
