Well, my beautiful public, I became addicted to LG15 after hearing about it from some random person on the internet sometime during the second week of September. Like most people, I instantly became hooked.

When all of the Cassies (YT above all) began spouting "clues" and drops...it was too much to bear! Now I am solely bound to YTCassie.

The loss of my LG15 virginity occurred during a random night of YouTube viewing. I saw one of the vids, thought she was smart and cute, think it was one of the "proving Science Wrong" vids and was intrigued by how well the video was done, the topics, etc.

Anyway, I watched a couple more and was telling a buddy of mine about it, and how it seemed to well done to be "real". Not long after, the online speculation on YouTube began to rise. I was intrigued by what these as yet unknown creators were up to.

I was even more intrigued by the sleuthing skills and group force created by this. It was a digital lynching tempered by humor and thoughtfulness. There were arguments of whether it was fair game to use YouTube like that, whether the videos had any merit now, etc. And the research some people did. Wow. Lot of fun to watch.

And then Cassie appeared. Big deal. Nilla and nono*** and Cu_Roi and BuncyTheFrog and Twjaniak kept me interested. The game aspect started to rear its head. and well, you all seemed like you were having so much fun....

crack, indeed.

I wonder if that's part of the job description. "Employee must become obsessive about employer", or is it like an added perk, like payed time off?

I bet the perks are great like, "Travel to remote locations, and enjoy scenic recreation areas."

I get hooked on certain things....I love having some creep factor involved...

So, like most of the arg community, I had heard of LG15, but had basically dismissed it, due to the 'outing' the creators did, a big arg no-no. (Don't break the curtain damnit! The curtain is your friend!)

But then, someone mentioned this new video with a possible dead drop, and...

Well, I love dead drops. And this one had my aforementioned creep factors, was well filmed, and wow...

And the rest is history.

I had JUST found out about LG15 and had watched most of her videos. Then I saw many people talking about 'Cassie' and I found out about CiW. I watched both vids, got scared out of my mind, and am now completely interested, though I would never call her.

ROFL! Same here. I called with ID block every time I listened to a message. (By the way, for anyone that doesn't already know. ID block doesn't work when calling most toll-free numbers. A telco friend explained it to me, and I don't remember the exact reason (wasn't important), but it has something to do with the system involved in connecting the call.)
