I agree, but at the same time, since the message in the wooden frame has been tentatively decoded as "FRANK HAS A BLOG I HAVE A SECOND LIFE", why would the Second Life clue lead us to the real-world drop clue which in turn leads us back the the simple fact that Cassie has an acct. on Second Life? It's circular. Not that I have any better ideas -- I don't think trying to retrieve the decorative frame from the realworld Super 8 by calling the realworld number in the yellowpages will help either.

argh Cassie !!! :x

SukiWatching: I saw the front and back pictures Cu_Roi posted last night. They were captures from his vid cam and were of low-ish resolution.

I guess there is (could be) writing on the wrapped part of the canvas (hard to see)... thought it was just the texture of the fabric before.

OMG I just looked it up in the bible, and the first letter of each section spells CODES INTO SERAPIS

just kidding.

I think the drop clue was meant to reinforce the clue from "Where" last week. Second Life the game was mentioned then, but I really don't think anyone really looked into it. As it turned out, the painting was located Tuesday instead of Sunday (after we had seen Rev 3 and knew for sure about the Second Life Cassie.)

Exactly -- but, again, that makes the clue that people just found today within Second Life (the picture labelled "the clue is on the frame" or whatever) make less sense. Because the phrase decoded from the back of the real clown-pic frame from the drop just directs us back to Second Life. Why say, "Here's a hint -- go look at the clue on the frame! It will lead you to Second Life!" by placing a clue in Second Life, where we already are?

The wooden "frame" a canvas is stretched on is not a frame. It's a stretcher or at least comprised of four stretchers..some people say it differently. So, Cassie either mis-spoke saying that it was on the frame or we do need to find the actual frame. I doubt that we'd be expected to start calling motels though. If we are to find a frame, I'm sure we'll get more "instructions". That's about all I can really offer here.

::chuckle::

For the record, if it becomes apparent that anybody's God is directly participating in these shenanigans, I'm washing my hands of the whole mess. I'm not going to try to figure out anagrams generated by a divine being. :)

More seriously, regarding the left over letters from the message in the text: I'd be willing to dismiss either of those as mistakes (the second B in blog comes from the word "blood," and Cassie could have meant to remove the L, and the final extra E comes directly after another E), but together, they are too suspicious, especially since they make a word. Has anyone run the complete sentence (with extra letters) through an anagram generator?

you mean the jesus painting in SL (second life) right? Can that be done? Anyone?

fyi if you've missed it, Cu_Roi pretty much demolished the real-world clown painting to check the backing that the painting is stapled to (the decorative frame frank referred to has still not been found) and found nothing. Tho, the writing which started this thread was on the back of the backing part of the painting..

crap i just tried to email franks blog to ask kate something but it didnt work i dont know the email of frank i guess, anyway i was gonna say this to her

Kaye, i regret you had to find Frank like this, undoubtably he was going through some weird times. In order to understand it better did you happen to see an empty picture frame in his room? he talked it about it much, and it may contain forensic evidence, though it might not be visible to just anyone. if you could maybe share some pictures of it, if you did see it that is, with his friends, we might be able to decipher something out of it all. Again my condolences, peace be with you.
A friend.

plus is was longer than 300 letters, lol oh well

Interesting. I wasn't aware about the clue found in the Second Life game. My bad.

Is it possible that the SL clue was left by someone else trying to gamejack us astray?

there are hundreds of Franks... a good number of Brees and even some Cassies...

And btw I don't think the message in the Jesus picture frame is connected to the ARG
