I have only been to New Orleans once, in the summer, pre-Katrina. It smelled really bad and was hot as sin, but it was still awesome. What is it like now every day? How often are you reminded of/ or do you think about the storm? How much have things gone or not gone back to "normal"? Did most of your friends and family stay there..and if not, did they come back? I've been here after storms, but nothing that catastrophic, and I think people would be suprised how much you are reminded of it for a loooong time afterwards. We haven't had anything noteworthy in my area for two years now and I was just getting pissed off yesterday becuase there's still street signs missing in some places (yeah, it's very petty compared to New Orleans, I know...but it sucks if you drive all day long and you're in a weird area where you don't know every single street name). I can't imagine what it must be like there. Tell us a story.

texas here... practically mexico, but that makes drinking expidetions more interesting when you get to go to another country! little college town that wouldnt exist is the universtity wasnt here. born in LA tho, grew up in venice, moved here as a teenager

well..being paranoid, i have overreacted there, to make my description more attractive.

but how do you know that i`m not kidding right now ?
Anyways, Romania is ok.I will put some pictures here someday.
