This is what she said when I asked:

Investigate? How pedestrian and civil. We leave such primitive and ineffective methods to those who subscribe to their own "Book of Law."

I don't know how "investigating" can be deemed primitive and ineffective while "analysis" is so important...whatever I told that broad she needs to take a vacation.
I think the distaste for Investigate comes from the FBI. Although I don't care for the idea that Tachyon and brother Forest over there are feds. I'd prefer a group that was just as shady as OpAphid only with a different alignment. Le sigh.
all we've seen confirmed is that they subscribe to their own "Book of Law." the rest is speculation.

maybe they are part of that secret ring of Catholics from the Da Vinci Code? or maybe the Free Masons?

I suspect investigate was called pedestrian and civil because the previous three commands are Analyze, Protect, and Hinder. If you've already made the moves to Protect and Hinder, isn't Investigate kind of a step backwards?

I suggested this on another thread, then realized it should probably go here. Could I be Identify?

I didnt read through this whole thread, so this might have already been posted. Anyways SuperRad4 sent an email to op about just hacking into tachys profile, and op respond that the "I" in aphid cleary states that this isnt a good idea unless you are certain you wouldnt get caught. Im not sure of the exact wording(i deleted the text) but that was the jist of it. Ask her for the exact contents.

Do not worry about the I right this moment.

Reflective thought is best in these times. The key, however, is to not over think things. At this very moment, we have some of our best and brightest combing the West Coast in an attempt to locate Tachyon. Unfortunately, she is quite good at escaping detection...we also do not believe that the girl in her videos even her, actually.

It is good to try and make sense of what we do know at this time, as we await her next move. But at the same time, if certain theories make sense, for the time being we must accept them as fact. It is important to not let mental fatigue set in from OVERANALYSIS (alas, there is no O in APHID).

We are also busying ourselves with other matters, so to speak (if I might borrow a phrase from a certain simpleton I've had to listen to far too much of).

This downtime has also been beneficial for catching up on our correspondence that has been overlooked during the more hectic moments of the past few weeks. And given how shunned some people feel when not responded to, we are at least attempting to take this time to respond to as many messages as possible. Certainly you have people in your life that you've been too busy to keep in communication with lately?

After all, in times of action, the first thing to go is any impulse to be polite...and as a leader, it is always important to remember that words work just as well for endearing others to your cause.

(Let's also state the obvious, which is that this Tachyon situation has caused me to re-think the only view I once shared with a certain famous follower of L. Ron).

But who knows what the future might bring? There might not be this sort of "downtime" again...at least not for quite awhile. So while we have these precious moments, a little self-expression could be beneficial for us all.

.......all of this is telling me to get some rest, we will be really busy soon. the only thing i didnt get was the part about the only veiw shared with the famous follower of L. Ron. what view? and who is the famous follower of L ron?

Here's the list with famous followers of L. Ron Hubbard.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Scientologists

The one arguably most famous (IMHO) would be Tom Cruise, though I haven't a clue what view could Op share with him... Or Charles Manson, maybe?

what view would she have to re-think though?

what are some of Tom Cruise's well-known Scientology influenced views?

the only thing I remember is the couch jumping.

after skimming wikipedia:

Cruise also claimed in an Entertainment Weekly interview that psychiatry "is a Nazi science." It has been reported that Cruise adopted his anti-psychiatry philosophies from Dr. Thomas Szasz, a leading critic of the moral and scientific foundations of psychiatry. Scientology is also well-known for its anti-psychiatry stance, which may also have affected his viewpoint on the subject.

might explain Opaphid's getting in touch with her feelings? think she's in therapy?

I take it as she's considering Tachyon as a very good candidate to justifiably take some Prozac :D

It's interesting, actually ... she's been throwing around the "L. Ron" a lot lately.

What I find most interesting is that she references a follower of L. Ron, but in fact L. Ron was very close with our friend Alister Crowley.

Scientologists have since denied this, claiming that L Ron was simply trying to infiltrate thier order to dismantle it from the inside (sound like someone we know?) ... but there is recorded speeches that Hubbard gave in which he refers to Crowley as "his dear friend".

In fact, Hubbard was rumored to be quite the disciple of Crowley, even participating in some of Crowley's signature sex and blood rituals.

But that's what I don't get ... Hubbard was Crowley's follower, not the other way around. Who could she be referring to, I wonder?

and who is the famous follower of L ron?

With all the 'news' lately surrounding Tom Cruise, he's the first that came to mind. L. Ron being L. Ron Hubbard, of Scientology fame. As to what view Op shared I am not up on the news enough to know.
