yea, definitely creeps me out! it was the first thing that struck me since the camera was very well placed horizontally.

moreover the sped up voice at the front and the back makes it hard to tell whose voice is that...

is it cassie herself?

I like the theory that Cassie is dead and it's her ghost posting the videos. It would explain the creepy voice.

but that's not really logical especially since this entire series is hinged on either bree's or daniel's vid blogs.

unless ghosts do make vid blogs too. heh.

but then again, cassie may not be dead. ah ha.

Well, the creators did admit that it was fake prior to posting this. Therefore logical rules do not apply.

If we're going to the occult/horror movie route (which it seems to be) than it could be argued Cassie's restless spirit was still around (due to her murder) and that she is posting these videos.

Kinda like the ghost of the girl in The Ring putting those images on the video tape.

shucks. quick take a picture of yourself! if your face turns out photoshopped with a whirled effect, then you'll prolly die in like 24 hours cos cassie will crawl out of the pool and out of your monitor to kill you with medusa like eyes!

seriously, i doubt there is any horror involved, just suspense with a major hint of murder from either main character.

as for the occult thing, i am prone to believe bree might be going through sometime in which cassie might have met her untimely demise in...

We already know that the show features a huge level of occultism and that it's leading up to a big ceremony. Now throw in the incredibly creepy video by Cassie. It seems to be going towards the horror genre, in my opinion.

And Cassie couldn't have been involved in the same ceremony as Bree is simply because Cassie pointed out that this ceremony only happens once in a very long while.

we wouldnt know... maybe sometime screwed up on the ceremony with cassie. that's why they may need to redo the whole thing with a replacement...

and guess who it might be?

I doubt it had to do with the ceremony simply because the video location was the same spot that Daniel and Bree went. I think Cassie is more connected to them than the actual religion.

Unless Daniel somehow plays a bigger part in all of this than expected.

daniel seems to deny every existence of cassie. do you think he really doesnt know her to begin with?

His name Danielbeast just always seem to imply to me that he wasn't as innocent as we were lead to believe.

He seemed to get a little to upset about her mentioning Casey, opposed to a whole "maybe i just don't remember her" thing.

about his username, ive always thought he might have added the word beast there to beef up his geeky image. a beast is usually mighty and fierce... and prolly even viscious.

and yes, daniel did seem to react the same way suspects do when the police interrograte them.

"i dont know what you're talking about" sounded quite fake to me.

c'mon, cassie is daniel's freaking classmate according to bree.

then again, bree might be lying with reference to the cassieiswatching vid's tag... man this is confusing... haha.

I re-watched the swimming video...again and noticed something.

Casey talks about skeeter hunting of the bugs in which she walks along the shore, finds them in the water and then bashes their brains in.

Hmmmm. Maybe it wasn't just bugs.

yea ive noticed that and placed it somewhere in the comment section at the youtube clip.

there were 2 violent things she spoke about in that vid.
1) "hacked into little pieces"
2) "bashing their brains out"

it sorta startled me that she sprouted stuff like that. maybe these two are connected? sums up to an even grislier demise than we have been speculating huh? haha.

There was also a fire at that location at some point in recent history started by candles from a ritual involving animal mutilation. Sound like some ceremonies happened there to me.

I also noticed that bree mentioned people were mean to cassie (like she thought they were mean to her) and that Daniel had walked around with her.

Daniel seems to have a tendency to latch on the frail type of girl who needs his protection.

Although maybe that was a lie, from the tag of Cassie's video.
