Okay, so I'm nerdy and enjoy researching
but here's some stuff I found interesting
here
The claims for the medical benefits of gold date back many of thousands of years. Many ancient cultures, such as those in India and Egypt used gold-based medicinal preparations.
And where was the Zodiac of Denderah? That's right, Egypt!
Gold possesses a high degree of resistance to bacterial colonisation and because of this it is the material of choice for implants that are at risk of infection, such as the inner ear.
An interesting medical product now being marketed in Japan is a gold-titanium patch, based on the theory of ion adjustment in the human body. It is considered that fatigue and stiffness is generally caused by the increase of positive ions in the body, causing the interruption in the circulation of blood. The gold-titanium patch adjusts this inbalance of ions, by inducing an electric stimulus (due to the galvanic effect between the gold and titanium metals.) The pain is alleviated by the induced warmth.
Gold is the perfect raw material for rapid testing. A rapid test is an inexpensive, disposable, membrane-based technique that provides visual evidence of the presence of an analyte in a liquid sample. Applications for rapid tests include clinical uses (fertility tests, tumor markers, toxicology, allergies), agricultural uses (food safety, plant and crop diseases) and environmental uses (biological and environmental contamination.)
For all you who are convinced the ceremony is to get Bree preggers.

I've just started looking through these sites, but they look like they have some interesting info as well:

I'm going to concentrate my search on why Bree would start to get those injections....what would that prepare her for? Also, side effects of too much of the injection...is that why she might have been taking the Cerebyx?

Scouring the first site, and so far the information has seemed rather iffy. Especially as it started out with a dream about cinnamon buns
Still I remembered what you said about Tachyon and time, though I don't remember ever reading anything about it, but supposedly the BeaST can wipe timelines clean.
The Blank Slate Technology is real and elements of our government/population have cooperated with the designers of Blank State Technology to further it's agenda on Earth. The Blank State Technology does just that - wipes out time lines and creates a blank state. It has to do with the dimensional blend experiments and the rip in time they were hoping to complete at the magnetic peak

This was a really interesting interview of Svali, who has since "disappeared". She was born/raised in the Illuminati and got out. She was on a worship team for a Wesleyan church in San Diego.

She could have been taking iron pills.
Side effect of gold therapy:
" In less than 1 percent of patients, red cell count may be lowered, causing anemia."

Holy Cow.....looking up side effect of one of the ORME's, rhodium:
"When you dry rhodium in the sunlight it goes off like a million flash bulbs. No explosion, no implosion, just a brilliant flash of light and it's done. The Pharos in Egypt used to commit suicide this way. When they were ready to meet their god they would dope up real heavy on the rhodium and walk up this long hallway into the morning sunlight. They would last about ten minutes. And they would blink out of existence. Gone in a flash of light. This is a massive overdose. You couldn't afford to get this amount of rhodium unless you owned a rhodium mine."

Interesting read about the ORMUS. At the bottom it discusses turning mercury into gold. Not sure if that's literal.

Very creative, but this theory strikes me as being incredibly far-fetched and weakly supported. I highly doubt that a major plot point of this series is going to deal with some snake oil medical treatment.

I would hvave to agree with you....I think we are missing the simple answer.

Yeah, you're probably right......this is definitely way too crazy an idea and wouldn't fit in with the rest of the completely realistic plot.

Maybe this explains the remark Gemma made in Learning Egyptian about being fascinated about the "Gold and the Jewels"
