hah, the radio sounded like it said "Bree's dad is dead!" at the end of its transmission.

Ok, it's really really late right now and technically I'm banned from the computer so I can't watch the vid for fear someone will hear, but from what i've read and can tell, there has to be more to this vid. In my honest opinion this is all a show to trick the Order perhaps? Probably not, but, it's very fuzzy and strange to say that someone's dead when from what we could tell they have no way of knowing. I think we should look deeper into this. Has someone checked that phone number since the new vid to see if a new message has been left? Maybe the images presented in this can form a code. Has Tachyon or Brother or even Op ever filmed any of the images in the vid, or een related ones before? Maybe even a beach or water? Because I for one would never go to a beach if my father had died. Or if anyone I knew, for that matter, died. I refuse to believe this was just some sappy rememberance video of someone we've only seen glimpses of in 3 videos

For some reason I get the feeling that Bree's Dad is going to make a comeback later on. Like pop out and yell "suprise"

I don't know. I tried looking for symbols and saw none :(

It was a good vid, IMO. It's sad Bree's dad is dead, but this video showed a new range, I think. Another helicopter, too.

Gotta go to work....just wanted to say....What a beautiful video...showed a whole new side of the creators if you ask me.

As for the video, think of it from the character's POV. They know there are a bunch of people worrying: us. They scramble to create a video to tell us what they found out. Bree's dad died. But they did it as a somber collage because none of them wants to sit and talk to us, not right now. How do they know for sure that Bree's dad died? Can't we trust that after the mourning period is over we'll be told? The character's first priority right now is not us, but grieving or being their for their grieving friend. It would have been more ridiculous if they'd just gone straight to the sleuthing again without a reaction to something so big.

I'm just sayin'

so after relistening to the police radio in the movie, here's what I could makeout:

First:
*too messy, words are unintelligible...unless I used a TON of speculation*

Second:
"...yeaaah, 415 is coming up..."

Third:
"...three was the idea that it had..."
(with the slight possibility that the first word is "Bree" and not "Three")

largely uninformative. 415 is the LA police code for "Disturbing the Peace." The creators might have just used any random police radio clips they could find.

someone give it a listen and see what they think.

If a moderator would be so kind as to remove one i would appreciate it. Anyway that was a pretty somber vid for sure but i still do not see how they would know he is dead for sure. Unless they supposedly seen Bree's Dad shot in the head or worse which we didn't notice. I am kinda puzzled also by this vid not really sure why it was chosen like this. So, they drove away and go to the beach to sulk about her dead father. Not really much to go on at this point but simple observations:

- radio saying something
- two somber looks on Jonas and Daniel
- Daniel talking with Bree on some rocks for a while
- Waves crashing shots and Bree walking alone a lot
- a lone bird
- a flower
- another dang helicopter how many is that now 10?
- and an in memory of Bree's Dad at the end hmm..

I do not know how they are planning to transition from this vid to the next. It would have to be something quite interesting to be sure.

Your observations sum that video's elements really well, livelong!

I agree that they will have to make the next video really different/interesting. Her Dad's death is a pivot point and they can use that to show a shift in Bree's personality... like maybe her finally opening up to Daniel about her religion.
I'm starting to believe the helicopter theory might hold some truth...

As for the lone bird and lone flower---it all symbolises purely being alone...and loneliness.

On another note, this editing---this all seems far to familiar...or similar like the editing styles of someone else..

I think it's possible.
That would be cool though.

Very well said. I was going to express these same thoughts. This was a transitory video, a way of showing the sadness that Bree (and the others to some extent) is feeling without a crying vlog. And it's a way to tell us that Bree's dad was shot and killed. How do they know? I don't know... Maybe they'll tell us, or maybe they'll just expect us to trust them that they know.

Regardless, this lets them deal with the death and (hopefully) move on with the story far quicker than a series of vlog posts. And it was very moving and beautifully edited.

Why does everyone keep asking how they know? They saw it happen better than we did, perhaps it was an obvious shot?

Just reiterating that this was a beautiful video...love when they add in more classical music.

Yeah, I think its safe to assume they all saw it happen. But they did run off...perhaps when he was shot--it wasn't in the chest or arm or leg...but maybe dead on in the head.
