hah, the radio sounded like it said "Bree's dad is dead!" at the end of its transmission.
Forum to post messages about Bree and Danielbeast

I know! Why should I care what that guy posted?heartlizziedot wrote:"The Accomplice" realllllly confused me. Someone tell me what it means! Ahhh.
I'm starting to believe the helicopter theory might hold some truth...annie wrote:livelongandprosper77 wrote:Sorry, bout the double post on the first page i have been having trouble with the forums for quite a while now grrr... If a moderator would be so kind as to remove one i would appreciate it. Anyway that was a pretty somber vid for sure but i still do not see how they would know he is dead for sure. Unless they supposedly seen Bree's Dad shot in the head or worse which we didn't notice. I am kinda puzzled also by this vid not really sure why it was chosen like this. So, they drove away and go to the beach to sulk about her dead father. Not really much to go on at this point but simple observations:
- radio saying something
- two somber looks on Jonas and Daniel
- Daniel talking with Bree on some rocks for a while
- Waves crashing shots and Bree walking alone a lot
- a lone bird
- a flower
- another dang helicopter how many is that now 10?
- and an in memory of Bree's Dad at the end hmm..
I do not know how they are planning to transition from this vid to the next. It would have to be something quite interesting to be sure.
Your observations sum that video's elements really well, livelong!
I agree that they will have to make the next video really different/interesting. Her Dad's death is a pivot point and they can use that to show a shift in Bree's personality... like maybe her finally opening up to Daniel about her religion.
I think it's possible.nobackspacebutton wrote:I'm starting to believe the helicopter theory might hold some truth...annie wrote:livelongandprosper77 wrote:Sorry, bout the double post on the first page i have been having trouble with the forums for quite a while now grrr... As for the lone bird and lone flower---it all symbolises purely being alone...and loneliness.
On another note, this editing---this all seems far to familiar...or similar like the editing styles of someone else..
Very well said. I was going to express these same thoughts. This was a transitory video, a way of showing the sadness that Bree (and the others to some extent) is feeling without a crying vlog. And it's a way to tell us that Bree's dad was shot and killed. How do they know? I don't know... Maybe they'll tell us, or maybe they'll just expect us to trust them that they know.jenlight wrote:As for the video, think of it from the character's POV. They know there are a bunch of people worrying: us. They scramble to create a video to tell us what they found out. Bree's dad died. But they did it as a somber collage because none of them wants to sit and talk to us, not right now. How do they know for sure that Bree's dad died? Can't we trust that after the mourning period is over we'll be told? The character's first priority right now is not us, but grieving or being their for their grieving friend. It would have been more ridiculous if they'd just gone straight to the sleuthing again without a reaction to something so big.
