I lurk a lot, so I'm a little nervous about posting, but I was playing with my phone, and on my phone, the space button is a zero.. so if it was a phone number, couldn't it be 660 4663?
Clever. I don't know if anybody else has mentioned it.

That's certainly an idea. I still don't think it's a clue to a phone number, but I like the way you think, miwa!

Its Ukiah, CA :)

I don't think its a street name either.

I think it was just what it said "No Good". Any ideas on what that might mean? What if Op sent it? What if someone else sent it? That kind of thing?

hmmm....Hadn't thought of that, it makes sense! My phone had a space on the "0" too!

...any thoughts on the area code?? 8)

((it's probably not a phone number huh? Wishful thinking i guess!)) :?

In the past, when we have been given phone numbers, two things have held true:

1. There has been a reason for a new phone number--i.e., Brother's previous number was tapped, or Bree's father had a number no one knew about.

2. We have always been given the whole phone number, area code and all.

I'm sure that these things are true now, as well. I think we'll benefit more from analyzing the possible meaning of "no good" than from dialing numbers that are a long shot at best.

I really think that it's his short version in saying that he's not doing good.
I don't understand why he just wouldn't type out "Help"
But I really think thats what it is. He has a short time frame to type something, he typed that.

heh. Maybe the Order hottie that picked him up didn't exactly rock his world as he hoped

Or maybe he's depressed because she told him he was "no good" in the sac and now he's lamenting about it

"no good" if it was texted by Daniel in a hurry, could be a warning to Bree not to use her phone. Perhaps the Order has captured Daniel and he learned that they located him by triangulating the signal of his cell phone.

"no good" as in "Don't use your phone Bree, they'll get you too!"

If he was caught and being watched, it makes sense that No Good would be an abbreviation. If he wrote it in a hurry so that his captor couldn't see then it could hint at longer words like North goodsomething.

If Op sent it wouldn't it be less cryptic? It'd be, "I'm at 742 evergreen terrace, come get me, don't bring Jonas (he's evil). Ps- Wear your good robes"

Unless Brother picked up the phone from the alley, and he's telling them that it's no good because Daniel doesn't have it anymore. Maybe he's the white van man?

As per ususal I have no solves to offer.

However I'd like to echo Tilt and include this. This IS a game and it helps us to use that info to our advantage.

Would it be plausible/practical to give us a number to another country. Would our phone plans (and in some cases, particularly in LG, parents phone plans) allow for the random VM checks that we do? Would it be plausible for the creators/PMs to purchase a Fiji phone number for game use? Additionally Tachyon apparently made a big fuss about being able to get away from phones and technology so I'm just all around not seeing that sync up.

Aaaagh, fourth wall! Suspension of disbelief! *covers ears*

Seriously though, calling Fiji is probably quite expensive. Nobody has actually tried that have they?
