Okay, my observations:

Question: If the "local" asked about was hanging around in the parking lot, why didn't the bowling alley people tell Jonas that he was there? Or had just left, or something? And if he had taken Daniel the night before, why would he come back and be hanging around the parking lot? Maybe he had been paid to approach Daniel, get him into the parking lot and pass him off to the Order? (thus the comments Jonas states about the guy taking odd jobs around town?) I bet that guy doesn't even have Daniel anymore.

I think Jonas ran because if that guy does have Daniel, and especially if that was the same guy at the bowling alley, the cowboy probably has seen/knows about Jonas and Bree. Not to mention Jonas had technically just broken into the guys van.

As for the "Bruce Wayne" comment, Jonas was still in mild manner millionaire mode while in the car. He couldn't be Bat Man until he left and did something, right?

And I agree with whoever stated before -- I loved his little look of "just watch me" after Bree said he wasn't Bruce Wayne. The boy just gets more adorable every video!

And I'm sticking with the Jonas is not bad (maybe his parents were, but not him). One, it would just be too repetitive to have him go down the Gemma road. Two, surely he wouldn't be so adament about going to the police if he were somehow involved.

I still think Bree is the bad one.

One thing we know for sure now:

Watchers don't wear cowboy hats!

The Batman reference definately needs to be looked into. A lot of people like certain characters because they want to be like them or because they are similar to them. If he is more Bruce Wayne like, perhaps he does have a secret identiy...but perhaps for good?

yeah, i don't see why this guy couldn't be a watcher.
my first thought was why not go right up and say, "have you seen my friend daniel?"
i mean they drove for days to find this guy and when they do, they turn around and leave because...? did they expect to find daniel tied up in the van? or just hanging out riding with the guy? did they get his license plate number, follow him to his house, or ask if he has seen daniel? no, no they didn't.

Why didn't they keep following him? And when did they realize anythign about the van? Imean, we noticed it in the last video...I dunno, it's like there's a missing video

Yes, I kind of wondered that as well. I mean, the guy left a public place with Daniel. People know he was with him. It wouldn't be so crazy to just go knock on the door and say, "Hey, I heard you were with my friend. We can't find him. Any ideas?".

This vid was idiotic. They should simply have talked to the guy and asked him about Daniel. Sneaking around, following him to rest stops -- how did they find him at the rest stop anyway? Did they follow him from his ranch? And if he was leaving the ranch, why didn't they look around the ranch for D-boy instead of following the damn Cowboy?

Who called the Cowboy, anyway, to distract him while Jonas was sneaking around the van? It was a male voice from somewhere else.

The character vids are good -- funny and engaging. The vids that supposedly advance the "plot" (in both senses of the word) are getting more and more frustrating and annoying.

LOL. Somehow that didn't even occur to me, but yes, why didn't they explore the house while the cowboy was away?

Daniel would have totally broke in if it was one of his friends missing!

This just makes me speechless...because you both are totally right.

Logically that makes sense but on the other hand it would be a bit of an anticlimax for the guy to just go "Daniel? Yeah, he's sleeping on my couch, he was pretty wasted last night." So they pick him up and they all just go back to Jonas' house and play foosball till 2010.

Haha, yes that would be pretty anticlimactic, but it didn't have to go that way. He could have hovered in the doorway, trying to not let them see past him while they were talking. There could have been a sudden sound from the background -- like something being knocked over -- and then the cowboy looks freaked and shuts the door on them.

Something to amp up the freak out factor a little. Could have worked.
