Obviously at this point he doesn't trust Jonas. That's only natural. I think he may be thinking that if he tells Bree about it, she will tell Jonas.

Ahh, damn, that thread-- I thought you meant they'd already figured out the xx/xy code for this. Boo. Well, I'm sure it'll happen soon!

I looked at that X,Y stuff in the AphidPedia last night, and I don't know how anyone figures that stuff out. Are these guys mathematicians, or what? It was like a foreign language to me.
just a few thoughts

1. the filename is 53454d494f54494353... convert it to ASCII = SEMIOTICS. wikipedia it if you don't know wht it means.
2. the file's preamble says it's a WinRAR v3.x file... password protected... with AES-128 encryption. (DOH!!!) not crackable.
3. nancy drew's first novel (where it all started) is about crowley's clock. aleister crowley = thelema dude; pic of him on bree's wall at home. he was all about SEMIOTICS.
4. 11 x, 3 y on the card. someone else know something about this?
5. ???

this is an example of a haiku:
Haikus are easy
But sometimes they don't make sense
Refrigerator
notice the syllables are in the order of 5-7-5
but tachy's 'haiku' was different:
Where it all started
the answer is before you
a subtle clue I Drew
which has a 5-7-6 syllable ending. which is weird. and un-haiku-like.
it could mean something or could totally not. idk. i catch weird things.
Ummm I think it IS a haiku because subtle is not 2 syllables, its 1 if you say it properly, or whoever wrote it thought that anyway.
Just had to throw in my 2 cents, cause some may be reading a little TOO much into this. lol
I see no reason to believe anyone other than Tachy wrote this for mr. beast.

How are you saying it in less than two? I don't see any way to avoid using both "suh" and "tul."

Here we agree.

Maybe the bad guy in each book will some how turn into a puzzle for the password, i just thought it was odd the way Bree dropped a name like that and knew who did it in that particular book which meant she had read Nancy Drew, and maybe Tachyon found that out when she talked to Bree and decided that was the best way to show Bree the password. My 3 cents...I went above and beyond 2..

Yeah, there's absolutely no way "subtle" is not two syllables by virtue of the structure of the word-- two vowel sounds seperated by consonant.
The fact that it's a false haiku had to be purposeful, since there's really no technical dispute as to whether or not subtle is one syllable or two.

Bree also mentioned her history with the Nancy Drew in the video she used the spy movie code to contact her Dad [it was either that one or one like, just before it], and I'm sure Tachy's seen it.
