I've only gotten two of the messages I've sent to her. Well of the messages I've sent to MS Cassie anyways...
Does YouTube Cassie respond often?
I have sent 4 messages and had 2 replies.
My advice FWIW: Show sympathy, play the game by responding to her YT page/videos, and ask how you can help.

However she doesn't respond to direct questions as far as I can tell. For example "Did you make friends with Daniel?" in response to the talk show phone message got me no where.

I won't tell lies.
I only listen to You(Tube) Cassie.
Please, let me help you - Tell me what to do.

what i don't understand is why cassie had her phone number on the clue in the first place. it didn't lead us anywhere...

I think she intended to actually do something with phone contact, but when it got jacked, she abandoned that plan.

Still doesn't explain the first voicemail clue. :?

I don't think Cassie's phone was really hacked. I think she's just purposefully making this difficult by confusing the hell out of us.

I think that if her phone were really hacked, the people behind YTCassie would have just rolled with it, rather than claiming another jacking.

Either way, it's getting annoying. If Cassie is smart (which you are, Cassie! :) ) then she'll just roll with the jackings or else risk losing participants. My interest has already decreased lately because none of the clues seem to be getting us anywhere. The loveline thing was so cool, too, and I want to believe it was for real.

i think the loveline thing established that cassie was/is in the same religious sect that bree is in, that she too was homeschooled, and she too had strict parents who kept her sheltered. That clue was more of a picture into just who cassie is. I don't believe the "my phone's been jacked THREE times" theory--sorry i just dont! The voicemails, esp. the last one have just been time fillers for the real clue that will come out now that we know LG was outside w/ her last video. We now know a little more ab Cassie than we did before, therefore that last vm wasn't a waste, but just cassie's version of the "Secrets of my past-revealed" video, that's all!

The so-called "jacking" must be all in-game, it's just not feasible for someone out there to have the knowledge to hack into answering machines, fake call-backs to people who called the number, and to stay one step ahead of game players every step of the way.

It's got to be all in-game. No matter what happens, it's all in-game.

I just got another message from her (not unprovoked, I had sent her one---Cassie you're my only friend!! ). What's new about this is that it's in morse code. It translates to Cassie's favourite word (everybody now!): WAIT.

Image

So does the use of morse have a special meaning (she's in danger from the phone hackers)? Or is it just an artistic license sort of thing?

Ok..Just kidding..Mwahahah..
OH..I am sure someone else has noticed..but..Cassie is using a cell phone..I called the line and it was off..and it said something along the lines that the cell phone subscriber is not available...

I now expect to get a Jury Duty notice in the mail within the next week and be unable to get out of it... Kharma...

Actually, all of this would be possible with just one "hack" of the cellphone number.

1. The hackers auto-dialed enough to get through to the voicemail menu.

2. Therefore they can retrieve any messages (i.e., get phone numbers for the two people we know of).

3. And they can also leave any outgoing message they want.

4. And they can also change the password so that even Cassie can't fix her own phone.

Once step 1 above was done, the other three steps would take just a few minutes. It would be just like the hackers owned the phone number themselves.

I would suspect teenage phone phreakers did this. They make a sport out of doing it to each other, so doing it to something as popular as Cassie would be an even bigger sport.

I agree this is sort of "in-game," in that whoever Cassie is has to deal with this somehow. That Cassie dealt with it first by calling certain players liars for having received calls suggests to me that it was not at all planned. Cassie couldn't count on those two players being so cool about it. Cassie's reaction was just too sloppy to be planned.

Plus, the game hasn't achieved anything significant by the phonejacking. The Cassie people went through all this just to have Cassie say "Wait"?

The number is a prepaid cell that's out of minutes, so it's usefulness as a clue has passed...

On the other hand I did find a pretty useful clue. Check out Cassie's iPod.

I know, I've been full of nothing but ridiculous remarks lately but with all of this "waiting" we're supposed to do things have slowed down to a near-dead pace with Cassie.
