It's just...everything in this forum is so freaking chaotic lately. There's not ONE PLACE to discuss anything and it's just so frustrating!

I think Helper was confirmed as "nursemaid"...it does make sense, as noted earlier (sorry to the poster that said it earlier for not remembering your name!)

Agreed. No matter where you try to start/join in a thread, there is always 3 other convos going on in 3 other sections about the same topic. And at some point, someone will yell at you for not knowing what's going on/claiming something you came up with was their original idea/not knowing what's going on even though it was posted somewhere on this board in the midst of thousands of posts.

It does deserve a sigh.

That's everything except a few smudges that people speculated might mean something, but upon closer examination just look like erasures.

They used to try to combine threads to avoid situations like this.

Also, maybe when we see a thread starting up that's on a topic that's being discussed elsewhere, we can suggest that people take the discussion to the earlier thread. Or the thread that's in the appropriate place.

That could help.

But who decides what's the "appropriate" place?

Honestly, as much as I love this community in general, the boards, IMHO are a mess.

Nothing to do with the moderators (though they don't seem that active lately) as much as the actual set up of the board.

But, really, that's another discussion (for a different section of the forum, lol)
