Chel, the drive-thrus are legal, because they figured a way around the open container laws. The drinks come in a styrofoam cup with the regular drive-thru-type lids, and then they tape the lid to the cup, and put a piece of tape over the straw hole.

Anyway, drinking is the accepted lifestyle here. Cajuns are big-time drunks.

Sorry Jo. I'm gonna have a house in LA, though. I want to divide my time equally between Los Angeles and Vancouver, since they're both the filmmaking capitals of north america.
