Jason: Oh yeah, you have no idea.

Madison :[ In her room, and decides to go to the pool, she changes into white bikini with blue polka dots, and grabs her towel and heads to the pool]

Jake - [Jake lets out a small sigh of relief as he nods, glad he isn't just imagining things. "The way he said that, though..." Jake turned his gaze back to Jason...]

"Just for clarification, how weird are we talking, here?"

Jason: I can't even describe it. You can't really put it into words.

But here's some advice: Watch what you eat and drink around here, and do not go to the "Let's learn how to do spin art" show.

Weird enough man? [Laughs]

Jake - [Jake gives a half-smile and nods.]

"Yeah, I definately think that qualifies as weird. Thanks for the heads up, though."

Jason: No prob man, just be careful who you say what to though. Some people really love this place, and others would sooner see it all burned down.

Jake - [Jake's eyebrow raised at the comment.]

"Burned down? Isn't that a little bit harsh? I mean, why would anybody really care that much?"

[Thoughts ran through Jake's mind as he asked the question. "Just what kind of school did they send me to?" He bit his lip, hoping that Jason was just exagerrating a bit.]

Jason:[Laughs. "Maybe people can't really pick up on the exaggeration, because of that... shooting..."] No, I'm just overdoing it. I really doubt anyone is gonna actually do that.

Jake - [Jake smiled and nodded his head as Jason clarified things. "Alright, at least this place ins't that bad.]

"So... What do you guys do to entertain yourselves around here...? I mean, like sports, music, anything?"

[Jake was kind of hopeful as he asked the question. "If there's not a soccer field or a drumset I can mellow out on, I might go crazy in this place..."]

Jason:[Sighs and shakes his head] We got a gym and a pool... S***, what else. I don't really know, I usually hang out with Autumn and whoever else I bump into. Otherwise, [Motions to the door to his dorm] I'm in there playin' my bass. I really think they want you to spend your time finding your song or whatever.

Jake - [Jake's mouth curled into a small frown. He then gave a quick shrug...]

"Oh well, I'm sure I'll find something to keep me occupied while I'm stuck here."

["Well, damn. I guess I could start working out... But that seems like all I've got. Then again, I slipped that set of drumsticks in my bag, so maybe I can just knock out a couple beats on a desk or something..."]

Jason: Yeah, sorry dude, but I think the only music program is sitting in the class room holding hands and sining kumbayaa or some crap.

You play anything?

Jake [Jake gave a small nod.]

"Yeah, I spent a lot of time back home pounding away on a drum-set. I could hardly bring that with me, though, y'know?"

[That had been something that annoyed him. He'd been begging his step-father to bring it, but his step-father kept telling him it was too big to drag around...]

Jason: Yeah, they are hard on that stuff. I was only allowed my old crap amp, not my Ampeq*. Maybe they'd let you have it if it was a really small kit with the covers for the drumheads that kill the sound, and those plastic cymbal things. But I don't really see the point in doin' that.



*(OOC- I'm not getting sued by... that company; pay no attention)

Jake - [He nods. He hadn't know that they were that strict about what was brought in, but it helped him make sense of why his step-fahter had been so against him bringing the drum-set along...]

"Yeah, I'm better off just banging away on a desktop or something, I figure. That's why I brought a set of sticks with me."
