But isn't it pleasantly surprising when it's the other way around?

Dude, I really need to get it. After Xmas though--I need to stop buying myself stuff.

After this is "The Historian", by Elizabeth Kostova. That looks good as well.

*blink* Mirage, seriously stop coveting my books! The Historian was pretty good, though you don't get the payoff as early in the book as I would like. But I dig the history/mystery stuff. It could have had a little more action to it though...

Aww, 'mute, that must mean you're one of those, what do you call them, gentlemen  ;)

Oh, crap. :D I wasn't supposed to tell you that I've been following you around, reading what you're been reading, eating what you've been eating......wearing your dirty clothes...;)

Seriously though, this is weird. :D

[\quote]I'd reccomend if you're interested to read the rest of her Tudor novels--The Queen's Fool (Queen Mary), The Virgin's Lover (Queen Elizabeth), and The Constant Princess (Queen Katherine)...all are excellent. 8)[/quote]

A friend just lent me The Queen's Fool. Looking forward to some time to read it!
