It is Management Information Systems... basically the implementation of technology in business. Sounds boring, I know. I am barely starting to take my core classes... I hope I like it.. I changed it from Finance.
Ummm.... I feel dumb asking if you are not in college. but what's yours?

You forgot the "freaked out and scared part".. LOL I researched on it alot as well. Very interesting stuff. I shared it with all my family who has never experienced it. All they told me was to get some sleep!
My family told me the same thing. They didn't get that it's not really a 'sleep' issue. It's a weird brain thing.

That sounds like my dream a few weeks ago but luckily it's isolate. It's only happened twice in the past year......but it's one of the weirdest sensations. I tried to explain it to my husband (who can fall asleep in 2 seconds flat) and he just looked confused.
Have you ever attempted to take control of it?
The best way to control it seems to be by taking a nap sometime during the day or early evening. It allows your brain to get the rest it needs - especially if you sleep in short spurts anyway.
Unfortunately, a nap is not always possible. In my case almost never possible.

I graduated years ago.....1998 with a teaching degree and figured out within 2 years that I don't like kids if they aren't mine. I taught middle school math.....they are evil.
I wasn't always this way with sleep......it got worse after I had kids and more stress.......how about you guys?

I'll graduate in a year and a half. Hopefully, I won't hate my job.
The sleep thing got worst in college with all the stress and sleepless nights.
My sisters are teachers---one elementary and the other high school. I can't believe they put up with it. I wouldn't last one day as a teacher. Tough job as you must know... MIDDLE SCHOOL...the worst!?!

I don't remember any particularly stressful triggering event. My head always seems to have a million simutaneous thoughts though. My friends and partners make fun of me for it. Explains why I can be online til 4am and still get up early for business, I guess.
