No, not really. It's kinda chilly and overcast, but my pool is heated and I love to swim.

It's like 10 feet deep and when my dog drops his toy in it, I have a hard time going to the bottom and getting it without being out of breath.

Mine came with the house.

Heh.

My mom got married in the backyard this past July and it was the hottest day of the year so of course, everyone wanted to swim. The next day, the water was cloudy and there was a ring around the pool.
