Right... I wasn't specifically looking for musical events occuring at Boston U, just the general Boston area... but now that you mention it, the two locations are only about 5 miles apart and almost on the same road (Marsh is on Commonwealth Ave., while Trinity is located just off Commonwealth Ave., near the intersection of Center St. & Commonwealth. Easy access.... if one was traveling by waterway... BU/Marsh would be on the way to BC/Trinity...

Hmmm.... digging continues...

Dig away! I'm glad you still have the motivation to do so.

So I have NO idea if this has been said anywhere else...
but I got bored at work today waiting to be left in.

Has anyone mentioned the stick figure in the first drop?
He only has one foot (that's not my point :D )

"To start off on the right foot" (that would be my point)

My reasoning behind it:
With a stick figure, arms and legs are normally just lines. To bring emphasis to the right leg (or foot) everything else has to be taken away.

If there was any other arm or leg present, then the thought of the "right foot" would not be shared.

Edit: ALSO i think that the car in the first page should be looked at more. I think there is something of extreme importance only because the "rocks" that are colored in on the second page appeared like a car, and not just some random rocks. :D

Edit 2: (yeah i'm REALLY BORED) The second page, weat beast and east beast, could be the united states?

excellent idea about the right foot
that was the first doodle , so it would be important for us to get off on the right foot.....

I thought the rock looked like a car too
was Jeromy trying to imply we should have been looking at the car more....
and I have been assuming that east and west meant the U.S. coasts...

good thoughts!
*as I go off to stare at the doodles *

edited to add that the right foot thing
goes along with the "right pair of eyes circled in the east/west picture too!

I'm still stumped about the car though.

haha all i have to say is "sweet, it makes sense to other people also"

Another little note: along with the car being "present" in both pages, the fish with the top hat (2nd drop) reminds me of a combination of the cook with the fishes.

But hey I could be completely out there, but the rock car and top hat fish are extremely close...

I'm also wondering which images relate to when in the storyline. Now that this chapter has played itself out it's going to be hard when and where certain things go...

You could be on to something with the right speed part.
Like something along the lines of "To start off on the right foot, you need to go the right speed." Like not going to fast or too slow (like we have been :( )

But then again, if the rocks are supposed to be a car... that would mean that the car is a bit more significant than that....

Strange thought:

On the page with "east beast, west best" there is a strange symbol underneath the face with two right eyes, looking like a "folded page"

Here is a thought, in the Mad Magazines, the back page was to be folded together to make a new picture.

What if you take the two seperate pictures, and fold them in half towards the spine of the book. See if all the drawings come together (as if we are looking at both pages through one eye).

Just a thought.

Starting off on the right foot....looked at in the right light...looked at with the right pair of eyes...

That sounds as if we're getting somewhere...but...where...? <purely puzzled look>

<taking out box of crayons> Hey, Zi? Wanna come color?
