Hmm you may be right. In the past Bree would have been intelligent enough to make such a reference intentionally.
I've highlighted what I think is the important part here.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not discounting that the reference could be more important then we think, but I also think that she's been a sandwich short of a picnic lately.

The Walrus and the Carpenter

" "The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
And whether pigs have wings."”

Tweedledee and Tweedledum recite this poem in Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass".

I suppose Bree is kind of analogous to Alice. A naive young girl thrust into a bizarre, confusing and dangerous world. But I wouldn't say that DB and Jonas are Tweedledum and Tweedledee so it is quite an odd reference.....

But then I thought the medulla oblongata thing was odd too.

While that is true, don't you think it would be a bit odd if all the references she made in this video meant nothing? And, Bree does seem to relate to Alice in some ways....just a thought.

Ummmm, are you refering to the video last week where Daniel discovered the camera? If so, I believe that was old footage of him finding the camera in the bedroom of his parents' house.

I love Bree in this video. Her aerobics were cute and reminded me of the earlier videos. maybe being with jonas living so far away and maybe that is father is dead has made the order less interested in her.

I hope so. The order is boring. I thought she'd hook up with Jonas.

They are from Canada. Maybe its a sign that they really are farther north then we suspect? Perhaps not in Canada, but at least Northern Cali

I, for one, am just too tired at this point to analyze this too deeply. We never seem to get answers to the million clues and references.

One time, in school, we had career day, and I said I wanted to be a doctor, and they laughed at me, and my teacher stopped them, and then, they said doctors don't have bad grades and my teacher said, even though I have bad grades, I could be whatever I wanted if I worked hard enough.

So I think Bree can be whatever she wants if she works hard enough.

The slightly sinister message here seems to be that idle banter from carpenters and/or walruses can be a prelude to oyster genocide

Or more seriously perhaps; that friends can quickly become enemies and you shouldn't be too taken in by their apparent bumbling nature.
