upon first view, well, yes, its over... but i dont see it ending, I HOPE!! but truthfully for an ending, this was awesome, you make ppl love a character kill them off and you get love even more because people get confused.... i will wish maddi is back, but for once, if shes gone, a very interesting series this is...

I think Maddy is special enough that get's my favorite sad song...

no not "Mandy" by Barry Manilow (gosh, that song is really depressing)

"Running Up That Hill" by Placebo and Kate Bush

*Cries for the fallen*

Oh and I still think that we should pull a Buffy and get a Rocket Launcher and kill his ass with it.

Well, great minds think alike, etc. I generally try to avoid sad movies because I get depressed... and this is even worse than a sad movie....

I wonder if we'll ever know why they chose that house... and how did warpylol know they were there?

I disagree - it's not satisfying. After all of the in-character interaction and puzzle solving, working toward the ultimate goal of saving Maddison and helping her fulfill her mission for Mr. Zipp, simply killing her off without any explanation does not make for a nice resolution.

That said, this vid was very poignant and well-done, and could be a great stepping stone to taking the ARG in another direction. The fact that the PM managed to generate so much emotional investment in the character of Maddison is testament to his or her skill - I hope that this is not the last we see of it.

I myself wonder the samething. she came on here and was getting into the LG15 videos, so why not take a page out of the BDJ play book and hide somewhere no one would ever think?

I just watched the video a second time and he mentioned "Uncle Joe's" at 2:01 so I guess they went there because he had a relative.

Augh I have the video paused at 2:02 and I don't want to watch the rest of it again but I feel like I have to.

there was never an "Uncle Joe" mentioned in any of the prior videos...unless he was an Aunt Alex..but the EVIL kind

I wasn't prepared for dead bodies in a video, and I didn't like it one bit. I didn't participate in the hunt for clues, but I really liked the two characters, and I was looking forward to seeing a lot more of them. Now I'm just really, really disappointed... It feels unfair both to the characters and to us and I wonder how they'll take it from here.

I'm just so annoyed. :smt010 :smt011

Those three words just depressed me so much, I had to repost.
We're cursed. Whenever we really appreciate someone, they go :(

And they're always female, damnit. Except for Alex.

I seem to be the only one getting sentimental over Alex too o.o

We've helped them out when they've had no other way to get it, chatted and joked with them, gotten to know them. Yeah, they're only made up characters, but we knew them better than we know the actors themselves. We have connected with them, and if they're dead then we cannot every laugh with them again. We can't be there for them. The connection is gone.

I know that sounded horribly sentimental and cheesy, but I was driven.
-applauds- Well said.

What if the person on Maddison's MySpace account earlier was Warpylol? maybe he's takin over her account.

As I said over and over and over in the chat, I'm very sad about this turn of events.

OOG, I didn't appreciate seeing "dead" bodies in the vid either. I found it all quite shocking, though I guess that's the effect the poster was after.
