Girl Scouts and also the 4-H'ers learn lots of practical things. I was never a part of either one.

I was raised with all that "properness," but I was no debutante or anything like that. I went to private school with a slew of them, though!!
When I took Laura (Lil Bit) and her friend Kate to dinner, Kate kept talking about her cotillion class...which is basically teaching her how to properly act at her first debutante ball lol

I went to a boys school from 11 to 18. Never really knew any girls until I was about 16. Was good for my education I think, but not so good for the social life...

We don't have any all boys or all girls schools in my town, but there are a few schools like that in Chattanooga...they do offer a few mixed classes throughout the year.

HA! Nope, not even close...but I was in the Tennessee Junior Miss pageant lol...didn't make it to the national pageant though, only state ;)
