Is Daniel getting obsessed, stalking- upset about being isolated from Bree? Jealous of her attention to her religion? Maybe he is the unstable character in this series.
He's not stalking her. He clearly states at the beginning of his video that he is about to go in to talk to her...
but then that Lucy chick gets out of her car and he's like, "Who is this?"
I would have followed her too. It's human nature to be curious.

I don't think either one of them knew what they had. They kissed once (that we know of) and then didnt really know what to do or where to go after that. So probably no.
Cassie and Bree were both teased and picked on, and Bree is Pretty, Cassie was probably ugly thats why Daniel doesnt remember her, or he might be ashamed cause he might of been one of the kids that was mean to Cassie. But who knows right? Cassie probably got freaked out when Bree's Dad decided to have "a talk" with her, cause thats when Daniel got freaked out, when Bree's dad asked him to be part of a religious thingy.
I guess as far as Bree knows...when her and Cassie parted, all was well. She probably doesn't realize the hell she could have gone through in school. Bree did say her only "girlfriend" was Cassie, so I'm sure she was shut out from her highschool world once she went back to homeschooling. The only contact she had with her old world is Daniel.
"Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples, born of you, shall be divided: the one shall be stronger than the other, the elder shall serve the younger" (Gen 25:23).
this is the closest I have found with the Oxen, but it seems pertinant....cassie is bree/bree is cassie?

Idk, he said the Bree's parents won't let him have anything to do with him...if this is true wht did he go over there? And why was he filming her window? But I do agree with you about the following. He saw her with a strange woman and got worried. I prolly would have too.
Personally I'm hoping that they just mentioned Cassie because of the hype over CiW. Because if it's anything deeper I am going to freak out... I'm scared guys! I "see" Cassie everywhere. Today I saw a watercooler out of the corner of my eye and I thought it was her for a minute. I'm freaking paranoid.

Nice! I'm searching a Bible database and finding nothing about the 2 oxen idea, but I'm seeing plenty of refrences to the story (in google) that make me think this has to be an allegory from...somewhere.

Hehe...my cat scared the bejesus out of me yesterday while I was Cassiewatching
I can understand why Daniel follwed that woman and Bree, too. After all, he is not allowed to see Bree anymore, and he does supposedly "like" her. So he could be concerned for her, and a little nosy.
However, I do think that there is an element of jealousy involved since he can not spend time with her anymore.
Or... there may be something far more sinister at play...
Whoever wrote this used the story that Bree used about the two oxen one stronger than another yada yada yada to explain a bible passage--II Corinthians 6:14-15: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?
Even if her religion is harmless (which it's totally not...she was SCARED? about the ceremony),
I'm guessing a bar or bat mitzvah is TERRIFYING
Public speaking is consistently within the top three things that make Americans nervous/scared. Bree has been chosen to assist in a big deal, high level ceremony which her parents aren't even able to attend, and she has to phonetically memorize lines in a magical language. It's a completely legitimate interpretation that "scared" here refers to her not wanting to screw up or make a fool of herself.
Daniel is totally showing up at the ceremony and Bree is going to flub her lines again...Big Time!
