But no one seems to have noticed that the first/second half "split" rule.
It's just like the other poems guys.
This should be borne in mind when checking answers. If the answers aren't first/second half splits of the original (or thereabouts) the answer is probably wrong.
the first half/second half rule doesn't strictly apply here. trust me.
the trick to this poem is realizing that it isn't COMPLETELY scrambled. it's kidnova half-assed scramble. the majority of the letters for the first few words will be on the left side, and the majority for the last words will be on the right side...but there's no definitive split.
oh and the last few letters are already in order. she gives us the rhyme scheme.

here is what we have so far:
What men can't understand, they curse,
What curses back is even worse,
When they attack the beast within
Beahewhisttottuabbethosssrin.
Deehhiyintritotfantsrehame,
deehhittoittoryfasrhthesame.

Deehhiyintritotfantsrehame,

Are you
sure.
The two lines that we have so far work EXACTLY like that.
Okay, split may not be in the exact middle of the line, but:
CHANWATTNEM | CADENUDENTHRYSTURSE,
What men can't | undersand the curse
CHAHWATTTEKNEY | BEAEHWHISTTTIN
when they attack the beast within
Split the TRANSLATED version and then you can re-split the untranslated version exactly?

So far! Well done, fits the pattern - keep going guys:
CHANWATTNEM | CADENUDENTHRYSTURSE,
What men can't | undersand the curse
CABASKETCHSWUR | EVISEWNORS.
what curses back | is even worse.
CHAHWATTTEKNEY | BEAEHWHISTTTIN
when they attack | the beast within
Please note following splits are in the middle and therefore COMPLETE GUESSES. You will almost certainly have to move them:
BEAHEWHISTTOTTU ? ABBETHOSSSRIN.
beast without the ??? | ABBETHOSSSRIN
DEEHHIYINTRIT ? OTFANTSREHAME,
DEEHHITTOITTO ? RYFASRHTHESAME.

oh I see what you're saying, I thought you meant...to split the untranslated version...directly in half! lik 15 letters, and 15 letters.
no you're definately right about that. My apologies.

NP. It was hard to explain. Although the first line you got worked exactly like that.
Yes, you have to work backwards - It doesn't really help with the lines we don't have.
Keep going - I will post summaries.
Do we have clues for the first words of the last three lines from the picture?

THE BEAST WITHOUT ABBETHOSSSRIN

Since the last two lines look very similar in the beginning, if you take the first fifteen letters of each line:
DEEHHIYINTRITOT | FANTSREHAME,
DEEHHITTOITTORY | FASRHTHESAME.
Both have DEEHHIYITRTOT in common the only difference is that "IN" is left over in the top line and "TO" is left over in the bottom line...
which now that I look at it again.....is it split like this:
DEEHHIY | IN | TRITOT | FANTSREHAME,
DEEHHIT | TO | ITTORY | FASRHTHESAME.
???

Beat me to it. Or OUT WITH THE BEAST ?
So far:
CHANWATTNEM | CADENUDENTHRYSTURSE,
What men can't | undersand the curse
CABASKETCHSWUR EVISEWNORS.
what curses back | is even worse.
CHAHWATTTEKNEY | BEAEHWHISTTTIN
when they attack the beast within
BEAHEWHISTTOTTU | ABBETHOSSSRIN.
out with the beast / without the beast (or variant) | absorb the sin?.
DEEHHIYINTRIT | OTFANTSREHAME,
DEEHHITTOITTORY | FASRHTHESAME.
? | fathers shame.

BEAHEWHISTTOTTU ? ABBETHOSSSRIN.
THE BEAST WITHOUT | BEARS BOTHS SIN.

the beast without absorbs the sin?
I don't think it's "bears both's sin"
because if that were the case it would be "bares both's sin"

DEEHHIYINTRITOT | FANTSREHAME,
DEEHHITTOITTORY | FASRHTHESAME.
DEEHHIYINTRITOT | FANTSREHAME,
DEEHHITTOITTORY | FATHER's SHAME

yo bosquelito, you agree about making line 4 "the beast without absorbs the sin"?
