there is another reveresed and slowed down song in the very beginning, but i can't figure out what it is. I doubt if any of the audio means anything, although the clicks might by morse.

no one else is available. he wants me to go but the hike is too long and i have prior obligations. others are being contacted but most people can't be awake early enough to go.

Although, looking into what JD labels usally have printed on them, it usually says "1866", not a combination of numbers ending in 981...

The second needle on the compass is pointing due east.

yeah, i was just looking into that. it doesn't look like JD to me..

Did anybody figure out what the text is that is circled and blacked out on the page pictured with the compass? Because the compass looks like it has been arranged to point due east of that marked text.
