Just because Bree doesn't spill any big dark deep cult secrets doesn't mean they're not there. Maybe we just need to wait and see.

I hope you're right.. I hope we are still actually in 10/12 mode, and it's just taking a while because they want the timeline of editing to be realistic.. So maybe we will still get our freaky ceremony explanation from Daniel soon, it just won't have happened all at once on the 12th as we were hoping for..

Please, creators, let me be right! Please don't let this be the anti-climax of the century (as it is definitely appearing to be right now!)..

Martha Stewart is a LG15 fan? :)
That would be...effing amazing. No, she was talking about the Yankees or something (Do they play hockey? I wouldn't know.) I was stoked that she said "pissed". I thought I heard her say it the other day...and I, of course, assumed I was wrong...but she must have. She said it today. I Tivoed it. (Talk shit about her and you die. She is my ruler.)

Edit: I am sorry I'm taking up space talking about Mothra (that's my pet name for her)...but, really, what else are we gonna talk about? Huh??

I hope I'm right too! :D

But I think we're all being a little too "instant gratification" here. Yes, the Creators did say that the fans would influence the story. But they didn't say we'd WRITE the story. So maybe they've still got some plot points up their sleeve that they absolutely!positively! must get out.

*shrug* Then again, it's not like I'm paying money for this.

There is honestly no way that this can be it.
Bree looks completely worn out, and even slightly as if she's trying to make it seem like everything went as well as she hoped.
I think something happened that she doesn't want to say 'cause she wants to keep telling herself that she wanted what happened.

And the fact that she didn't even mention Daniel's video is weird.
Unless she's not looking at them anymore, which seems far-fetched, imo.

Hmm...
I don't trust it.

Not one bit.

I don't care, something should have happened. There's been a lot of buildup for it. Plus, something should have happened in CIW for sure (yeah yeah, not official, I know. whatever)...I'm not even gonna go there.

Did anyone else notice the weird face she made after she said "I feel great" right at the very first? Kinda drew her mouth to one side and lost eye contact. You think she's SUPPOSED to make it appear as if she's not being truthful??

And how she had that weird emphasis when she said that Lucy held her hand??? I dunno... That struck me as kinda weird.

I'm not totally dissappointed yet, cause I still think there's a lot Daniel can bring into it with his next video. Plus, if this wasn't the climax, which I was kinda hoping it was, then there's bound to be something soon. Maybe a new problem is going to be proposed? And the ceremony wasn't even the main event afterall?

Going back to her comment about it not being difficult to be disaplined and now she feels like a new person. At first I thought she was made to get rid of Daniel and that's why the video ended so ubruply. But then I thought, well how could the video get posted? But then I thought, maybe someone else posted it. They found it after getting rid of Daniel, edited it down to only "boring" shots and then posted it online. I think there might be some interesting findings in the future from a certain girl we all know and love! Im just playing some wild guessing, but I'm gonna go with it until something else is proven.
Im changing my idea of who is involved. I think it is Lucy, not Bree. Lucy is going "away" to do some other "business" she is also one to talk about making sacrafices. I think this sounds a little suspictious to me.

Two people on a boat; drunk; in love. The last stanza of the song, which was cut out of the recorded version, has them consumating their love in bed. That last stanza sucked really badly, lyrically, and would have ruined the song. Thankfully, the producer cut it out. And, hence, we have a classic.

No one really knows what it means, and the writer and vocalist of the song have never disclosed it, and have said they never will. I read an interview with Keith Reid, the writer of the song, and he didn't seem to know what it meant (if it had any meaning).

The quote about the miller telling his tale is commonly seen as a reference to Chaucer's, "The Miller's Tale," especially since that involves a drunken miller and carnal love. But Keith Reid has said that he had never heard of "The Miller's Tale" before people pointed that out to him.

So, who knows? It's a great song, nonetheless. I read that John Lennon used to listen to it over and over with headphones in the back of his limo, and one time didn't want to get out of the limo because he wanted to hear it a few more times.

You can't put a bandage on a fresh tattoo, it ruins it.
When I got a tattoo on my leg, the covered it up. Don't know if it would qualify as a "Bandage" though.

I've got 5, and they all had gauze coverings on them, not like a band aid.

I digress. :D

yeah, i agree. don't be expecting Bree to spill the beans or any deep, dark secrets about her religion because she never has. she would be one of the last people to do that.

I'll add another post to the "that was the exact opposite of everything I had ever hoped for" category.

I'll check back on lonelygirl15 in a WEEK.

TheFatLady made some terrific points about story structure. I think the difficulty we're running into is that we are in an undefined storytelling format. If Lonelygirl were a feature-length movie and we were 40 minutes in, we would know not to give up because we'd know that there is another hour or so to introduce new plot twists and begin resolving some of what's coming before.

but since we don't know how far into the plot we are - or even how much is already written and how much remains to be invented by the creators - we don't have anything to go on.

How well the creators keep their viewers now depends on whether people continue to trust that they are on a worthwhile journey with a story that will satisfy. If the writers keep it fresh and interesting, give us new insights, and keep the mysteries coming, I think we'll all be willing to trust them even though we don't know the "rules" of this genre.

It sounds like some people are losing faith in the creators, since 10-12-06 hasn't turned out to be a the big turning point that some were anticipating. I think it's up to the writers to deliver something new/surprising/shocking/intriguing if they want to keep viewers coming back for more.

I'm willing to trust the creators a bit further. Hopefully they'll come through soon with a new plot twist.
