Actually... it sounds sort of interesting. And people actually DO stuff like that... I have a friend who absolutely refuses to work during the summer... so she works a nice job the rest of the year, and then lives out of her car during the summer, wherever she happens to want to be... and she's been doing it for 10 years straight now.

Fully agreed... As a college student with no money I know what $5 can buy me from the Wendy's dollar menu.... Still its not impossible to think that he just didn't think of it or something. but still a twinke and a comic book?? i feel like i am missing something.

thanks creators for the study break! 8)
Same here. I stick to Wendy's/McDonalds dollar menu. For 6 bucks you can get 3 sandwiches a soda and a frosty...I mean, seriously. There wasn't anything more important than food. Man cannot live on P. Monkey and warwalking alone.

i really liked that video. daniel vlogging just like the show used to be.

now that's he's home, he should snoop around bree's house and try to figure out what happened with her parents (especially since bree ain't doing a thing on that front). a lot of plot possibilities open up for daniel now, though i hope and expect he'll join back up with bree at some point -- either to rescue her from eviljonas, or rescue her from gropyjonas.

the fact that he didn't say he "loves" bree is completely in keeping with the ambiguity of their relationship, and his typical-18-year-old-male inability to say such things.

in agreement with lurker on the money thing! he probably had just a few bucks on him, otherwise he wouldn't have had to learn how to stow onboard a train. in fact, i personally felt that Bree exaggerated the amount of dumpster-diving that actually occurred. i mean, anybody else would have hocked the computer and camera 1st before doing much of that.

Oh my gosh, people. Don't be so ridiculous.

A twinky costs a quarter. If the comic book is crappy it probably cost a quarter too. Have none of you ever been to gas stations?

He could have found the 50 cents on the ground! It's not significant to the story!!!

I wouldn't. As a college student without a lot of money myself, I know I can survive just fine on a little bit of food each day, and I know how to get into the dorms that require a special card without actually having one (and then sleep in the common room).

I would consider an emergency something along these lines: one of them is dying and will be dead if food is not acquired very soon in a simple manner that will not draw any unwanted attention (meaning the one who's okay enough to go get food can't get arrested for shoplifting, leaving the other to lay in a warehouse and die).
ViolinAddict wrote:We are not asking him to save the world... but why would he let Bree eat leftover hot peppers from a sub sandwich out of the garbage if he could have bought HER a twinkie. If he was saving the money for an emergency he wouldn't have bought those things while he was still on the road... there could have still been an emergency.
We don't know how close to home Daniel was when he bought those things, and since he was on his way home at that point, there really wouldn't be any major foreseeable emergencies that a few dollars would have helped him with anyway (I doubt he could have bribed the Order to let him go with a few bucks).

Yeah, so they eat for maybe a day, and then what? Still go dumpster diving. I'm sure if there was nothing left to eat but something really rank, they might have bought a cheeseburger, but still go diving the next day. They had to save what very little money they had. It'd be foolish to spend it all in one place.

I can get a recycled comic for as little as 25 cents at one of those comic stores. A comic and a twinkie? Less than a dollar. Pocket change.

Someone should really ask Daniel which comic he bought. There may be a clue there. (Tachyon has made some comic book references - i.e. Culper Ring) Just a thought...

Okay but we can see from this video that Daniel does have very strong feelings for bree. Thinking more on their situation, he was used to her giving only him her attention...he probably got flustered with all these new friends of hers. He used to be the only one she had...and now there is Gemma, and more importantly, Jonas.

Daniel = Jealous

Think there is anything significant about the story with Walter?

And we can read between the lines for eternity but we do that in EVERY video and get no confirmation. We still don't know anything about what they are running from.....

Oh, and screw realism.....time to get back to living Daniel.....Bree and Jonas deserve eachother.

I used to go to the "Get to know eachother" forum to bide time in between videos....at this point I watch videos to waste time until people come and interact...... the "real" people are getting to be much more interesting/entertaining.

I'll write this in capital letters so it's more legible.

DONT YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND. DANIELS BITTER PARTING WILL MAKE HIS REUNION WITH BREE ALL THE MUCH SWEETER. I THINK THAT'S WHEN THEY WILL FINALLY HOOK UP.

AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE, HE KEPT SOME SPARE CHANGE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

So, okay -- he's home, his parents are there, they're all okay. Time to go pick up Bree and take her back to his house instead of leaving her with a random stranger? Come on!
