Stupid theory #2 -- the Epogen cases are there because during the ceremony it isn't just Bree who will be letting blood. Dozens... hundreds... of people could be part of this ceremony. Bree is required for the ceremony, but nowhere does it say she is the only one in the ceremony. The others would be of lesser importance, perhaps.

I like theory #1. Obviously all the Epogen in the warehouse could not be for Bree. There has to be something else going on there...
And did they ever completely confirm that Bree's shots were Epogen, or was it just assumed that it was, because her dad was connected to a giant warehouse full of it?
You could be on to something there. Maybe she was getting something completely different.

I wonder what blood type bree has?
And, is it possible that the epogen was for Alexs mother? Was it her who had a kidney problem?
Perhaps the order recruits people through their religion in some sorta evangelistic way, like pandering to people who need kidney transplants sayin they can heal them, then using young people to harvest their organs, I just cant figure out what the gain for the order would be.
I dunno, my brain hurts.

I'm thinking the organ donor thing is a blind alley. If that was their deal, why would they need Bree specifically? Also they don't really seem evangelical, just fanatic. Evangelicals are a special kind of fanatic and are much more in your face than the Order is.

Ha ha I agree about the evangelist thing...
I guess they could want Bree if she has a really rare blood type. Dont blood types have to match up for transplants? They could be "growing" organs, breeding and abducting children and placing them with families that will make sure they grow up healthy.
Yeah, I dont think thats it but i could see how it could fit in some ways...

If that were the case, I would think it would make more sense to keep all those kids together under a watchful eye and out of the public. Like a locked down dorm sort of situation. Monitor their health, nutirition, etc. until they were "ready for harvest".
It would make a really interesting plot, but I don't think it has anything to do with lg15.

Yup, Bree was getting prepped for some blood spillage.
it was definately in the cards...
so if Bree's father was a doctor...why didn't he know about this already. I though bree's dad was clueless to what these shots were.
it's very possible that he was givin unlabeled medication; he had no way of knowing what it was.
NBSB wrote:If she was anemic, this would make sense for her dad giving her iron pills.
wait waitt it said that iron levels were checked in patients having epogen administered, and that supplementary iron was given if neccesary.
ok check it out
i just gave blood today [apparently there's a shortage and they need O+ blood, but that's neither here nor there], and one of the first things they test you for, and one of the things they seem to stress, is iron in your blood.
i think that when they gave her epogen, they wanted her to store up blood [possibly to prepare her for some ritualistic bloodshed, but that's just conjecture], but they wanted to make sure that the iron already in her blood wouldn't be diluted, so they gave her iron pills to make sure her iron content is still proportionally good.

Picture this: Bree has a unique biology that produces some sort of chemical/antigen/whatever beneficial to mankind in general or the Order specifically. Or at least the Order is of that opinion. So they have been getting blood or some sort of bio-material from her and experimenting with it. Volunteers have even been injected with products made from these experiments. It is the volunteers who need the Epogen, not Bree. Something in her blood is killing red blood cells in theirs. The Order been shooting her up with something to combat the problem but it's not the Epogen.
hmm. interesting theory. or picture this; they're doing experiments with bree's blood, but they need more than the typical one pint taken from a blood donation, and they're giving her epogen to increase her blood production, so they can do more tests.
then, combine that with theory number 2.
