yes but its still illegal to own a fake ID.
If the police have it, they have a picture of Daniel, and the survelance video from the wearhouse. Both illegal actions. The police still have ground to arrest him and take him in for questioning
its not blackmail, its grounds for arrest

They could just be saying they have his cellphone number. you can triangulate someones location from a cellphone number anyway (or so I'm told).

yea its possible, plus most ceel phones have GPS now, so you can find exsact locations.
