111(-96+99)!=666 is not a math equation. It's another puzzle. Mathmatically, the equation equals 666, but the != means "not equal." Someone wouldn't go through the trouble to register a domain and set up a web page just to say that an equation that no one's ever seen before is wrong, while it is, in fact, correct. The question that remains, is what do these numbers mean? One thing I noticed is that all of those numbers are invertible, meaning, if you turn them upside down, they're still a number. (ie. 9=6, 6=9, 1=1). OR there could be some symbolism to the numbers (ie 111 could mean the three characters to this story, Daniel, Bree, Cassie).Kimmi-Chan wrote:http://www.cassieiswatching.com/?
now just has a math equation that equals 666
111(-96+99)!=666
either you read it one of two ways:ixlr8 wrote:Someone wouldn't go through the trouble to register a domain and set up a web page just to say that an equation that no one's ever seen before is wrong, while it is, in fact, correct.
But that doesn't answer the question of WHY is it there? Someone just being a game jacker? It's just not enough to be a gamejack. Someone being a smartass? Perhaps. But why -96 and 99 specifically? Why not 1+2? I think that there's some significance that we're missing. And what's the harm at exploring another avenue at the present moment? It's not like much is going on with Cassie anyway.mikemakesright wrote:either you read it one of two ways:ixlr8 wrote:Someone wouldn't go through the trouble to register a domain and set up a web page just to say that an equation that no one's ever seen before is wrong, while it is, in fact, correct.
111(-96+99) != 666 which works out to 333 != 666
or
111(-96+99)! = 666 which works out to 666 = 666
The '!' in the second equation is the factorial operation. Either equation is correct in what it is claiming. So, I'm not sure what you meant.
Also, it's only like $5 to register a domain name, and it's not that much trouble if you are already running a site that you are hosting or paying for hosting. It really doesn't seem credible at all.
I took a glance at the page source, and it's totally blank (as anyone else who's looked can testify). I honestly doubt this is a true "gamejack" so much as somebody just screwing around with us to throw us off focus. Had there been anything else on that page--even a valid html header--I might've thought otherwise.ixlr8 wrote:But that doesn't answer the question of WHY is it there? I'm convinced that the storytellers know what story they're telling. There has obviously been a lot of thought that has gone into this. It's too easy to write yourself into a corner. No one can pull a show like this off without having a REALLY solid game plan. The company that this is forming has a very solid business plan. The creators are weaving a story that we're getting sucked into, and they're going to make a boatload of money off of it. And kudos for them. I wish I had thought of it. But I digress.
Referring back to the MTV interview with Daniel. He obviously knows what's going on WELL ahead of time. He was asked what's coming up in the storyline, and he was very evasive. Most actors will at least give an interviewer something. Daniel had this look of "I know something you don't know" on his face, which caught my attention at first, but I dismissed it as unimportant. I'm sure that the creators are going to put in dead ends, as sure as I am that the creators are going to put in plants so that there is the proof of concept that it's "interactive." I'm going to write a post later about my theories on how interactive this show really is later. But I hope I've made my point that every alley IS worth exploring, no matter how inconsequential it may seem.

If you look more closely, the complete page contains the following:blessedsophia wrote:I took a glance at the page source, and it's totally blank (as anyone else who's looked can testify).
