I have to agree with what others have said: I'm hoping this is part of some ruse on BDJ's part. I really hope they're not still so naive as to be uploading their intended destination along with a scenic map of how to get there, as well as offering an airborne signal that could be narrowed down by satellite.
As for all the talk about the cabin, I think some people were looking too much into that. It's not that wild an idea that rich people like Jonas' family would either 1) have a caretaker for their cabin or 2) rent a really nice cabin (in which case it would have management). And then there's the idea that he's just calling the power company to tell them to turn things on (less likely than the other possibility for reasons house mentioned, but still possible... I've known someone to do it, though they regretted it later). You don't want to burn power you don't have to, even if your bank account is stacked (though this applies even if you left the power on, which you'd want to; you'd just avoid having the heat turned up for habitation).
Of course, I'm still hoping that they're not really going there.
As far as this being a sign that Jonas is evil or that he was calling OpAphid, since he was right in front of Bree and Daniel when he did, he couldn't have said anything more suspicious than "Turn the heat on" or "I'm heading up. Turn the heat on." If he started saying things like "Yeah, it's me. We're taking [insert road] up to my parents' cabin in [insert area]. Could you turn the heat on?" they'd probably get suspicious since whoever's supposed to be there shouldn't need to be told where it is.
Besides, like imogene2004 said, if Jonas wanted to make a secret, devilish call, he could have gone to the bathroom or done it while Bree was taking her time at the quick stop.
Not that any of it really matters, though. As others have pointed out, if OpAphid knows where Jonas' house is then they'd certainly know where this cabin is (tax data and property details are actually a matter of public record; you wouldn't even need to have super connections to figure out where the place is) and either already have looked into it or would have gone to check it out first thing after BDJ left the house.

That's the biggest question to be answered.

I agree.

1) No name, no address on the fake ID.
2) Confirmed watchers have watched them but not attempted to grab Bree.
3) Lucy saying it's your choice.
I think Daniel just meant that there wasn't a real name and address on the ID. When it was found by an ARG player it actually did have a fake name and address. Not sure why he would think that would make a difference, though. If he lost it at a bowling alley and they found it near a bowling alley, that would pinpoint the place well enough, one would think.
Anyway, yeah, it's great they've finally confirmed the free will thing. It was obvious for a long time now, but a lot of folks still hadn't accepted it, which often made discussions difficult.
immortal1 wrote:And "the need a hand" comment by Jonas. You can't tell me they aren't perpetuating gay Jonas.
I'm sure we're going to see a lot of reference to this in the next couple of days.
spiff5000 wrote:These are the DOH moments:
Bree says they're going to Jonas' parents cabin in the mountains. The Order knows his regular residence, so it will take no time to trace back tax records to figure out the location of the cabin in Tahoe.
Jonas calls from his cell phone in route. He should have called the management company (or whoever) from a pay phone at the Gas 'n Gulp.
They didn't check the car for GPS or bugs.
DOH!
And that's why I'm hoping this is a trick. Otherwise they made a lot of mistakes that they should know better than to make by now. Really, if this wasn't a trick we'd have to ask "Did they learn nothing? Did Tachyon teach them nothing?" I'm thinking it's got to be a trick, if only because there's no way they should still be making mistakes like that at this point.
bethy wrote:So Lucy kept saying, "It's your choice..."
Some choice when they keep hounding and annoying her to give in. Some choice when they kidnap her best friend...
It is certainly a screwed up view of free will, but in the strictest sense of speaking, it is her choice. I guess that's good enough for the Order.
chershaytoute wrote:Couple things...
First... Did anyone else notice that Jonas' heart is still in the window?
Didn't until you brought it up. I bet Jackson did it as a joke for us this time.
chershaytoute wrote:Second... If it was taking soooooo long for that stop out in the woods, just what was it that was getting written in cursive? Daniel writing his name...or Danny B writing a secret message to Oppy? <horrified look>
With all that snow coming down, a message would be gone in no time. And it didn't really look like there was anything to indicate to anyone that they should go over there to look for a message.
Kasdeja wrote:lmao, I think any comments like that are there on purpose because they think it's a joke that so many go on the "so and so is flirting with so and so" tangent anytime they have a normal 'buddy' or 'friend' chemistry going.
Probably. Friends goof around like that. Not everything has to have romantic subtext.
Kasdeja wrote:What guy doesn't prefer hanging out with his guy buddies? Seriously, guys...it's not even funny, anymore.
I actually don't, but I agree with your suggestion that many seem to, just as women are often more comfortable with their female friends.

I hate Daniel when he is trying to be all "buddy buddy" with Jonas. It is such bad acting. I know I know that this whole series is bad some of you will say but I dont mind some slip up. But EVERY time that they talk and joke around it is so fake and not how boys act around each other. Frustrating.
Seems fairly genuine to me, but I'm also assuming that we aren't supposed to assume we see every bit of interaction they have - just the ones they happen to think are the funniest or most entertaining. That video probably was filmed over the course of several hours, but it was only a couple of minutes.
