but the story of how her parents met DID include a fiesty mom as i recall.
nice vid tho.
maybe the best acting by jessica so far.
ooooh I like this way of rationalizing (I'm going with this theory - everything is all better now).

Thanks for reminding everyone.
GoodSearch.com
It's free and produces the same results as google. PLEASE.
thanks, JALG. Sorry I forgot it was you. So far I've contributed to "Doctors Without Borders" and the "American Heart Association". I'll be sticking with those two for a while, then I'm going to go to "St. Jude's Children's Hospital".
Again, thanks, JALG.

Can't read this now, but I'll be back in the morning:
Just: YES YES YES YES YES We FINALLY got the religion!!!!!! Now we all have research to do. I'm sure we'll dig up something.
I think that this video is one of the best we've seen in a while. We get a normal vlog, a look into Bree's thoughts again, which we haven't had in a while. Her acting is really good in this one, and I miss Bree just talking to the camera.
I loved the part about Daniel in the morning! That's me!
Also, now we've got another branch of the Order: the recruiting branch. "The Hymn of One." Hmmm...
One thing that this video does seem to explain is that Bree's mom is not inherently a bad person -- she just fell for a fake religion, and Bree was just a "daddy's girl." Bree's mom seemed like a quiet person who need answers -- and once she found them -- she became completely devoted to the cause and was able to argue because now she felt like she had something she believed in to back her up.
The question is, how far in the currupt Order did the mom get? She can't have gotten TOO far into the thick of things, because Bree's mom agreed to let Bree not do the ceremony and looked really scared when the Deacons said no.

JustAnotherLonelyGirl. wrote:maybe bree's stories conflict with each other because her parents told her lies. i know there was some speculation as to whether her parents were actually married/a couple or if they were just assigned to look after bree. this seems to confirm that A) they were a normal romantic couple; B) they weren't, and tell Bree conflicting stories about their fake romantic lives; C) the Creators sometimes twist and warp facts from earlier in the series to fit their new plot visions, so deal.
Well it makes sense that Bree would see both her mother and her father differently now. Her father got himself killed telling her the truth, and her mother is having her followed and trying to force her to do this ceremony (which isn't that far fetched since she's not Bree's real mom).
Seems her father actually developed a father/daughter relationship with her, and her mother sees her as the pawn she raised; no motherly instinct there.
ETA: Oh, and Ericski deserves the credit for this revelation as well.

OK.. So this is what I don't understand.. (2 am question flash!).. Why does the Order want to do a ceremony with Bree if they are not a religion, and the "Hymn of One" is just a cover up for something bigger?
The post about Goethe/Faust has a related paragraph below it about a divine feminine becoming incarnate.. Bree?

longposter: There's no proof that Bree is not the natural child of those she calls her mother and father.
Is it possible the ceremony is designed to make the same change in Bree as was made in her mother? Could her mother have gone through the ceremony before her?

Hmmm... all this, "Hymn of One" stuff makes me think about the theory that the ceremony involves impregnating the pure, virginal Bree.
...so maybe if she has sex with Daniel or Jonas right now the Order will leave her alone.
I wonder which boy is willing to take one for the team?

Really? Ok, whatever you say. I'm not going to correct you constantly. Perhaps you should look at the videos for a fourth time.

Except for that bit where her father tells her that she isn't.
Unless you think he's lying for some reason, but that's about as close to proof as you're going to get on this series. I mean, it's not like they're going to release a video of Bree's real mother giving birth to Bree.

My apologies, LLP. My only excuse for the laps in memory is that I'm getting old and my brain must be rotting. All RAM, no hard drive. Now you know why I watched so many times.
Still, the woman posing as her mother went through a drastic change. Could it be the effects of the ceremony?

Where does that come from? That would be like saying that all people in a religion are brainwashed! Actually....you're right! My bad.

I'm thinking that the fact that it has been mentioned twice that they don't remember what happened when they were in custody is significant.
It will be fun to see how it plays out
